Went during a live band event which was awesome itself with a friend, we both had a great time and the overall experience was awesome plus friendly service!

Usually my experience here is good. We were a party of 6 and had arrived at 4:00, so it was quiet. The server was great. Beer was good. Food was ok. It arrived at different times, some of us ate before others, and some of the food was a bit over cooked... I would go back. This probably was a one off. It is a good spot.

Not what it says it is. Ribs were not good. Sauce barely poured over grey meat. Place is obviously changing hands. Not good.

Unfortunately I had an unpleasant experience here. While I understand they have specific policies, their pet policy was poorly communicated and handled in a very rude manner by their staff. Not gonna be coming back

I had planned to celebrate New Year's there, which was my parents' first night in Canada. Unfortunately, the staff were incredibly rude and unprofessional. At one point, I had to tell a male server to keep his distance, as he was essentially harassing me by standing too close in an attempt to assert control. Their behavior ruined our evening, and the staff's lack of professionalism was unacceptable.

The food was stale, and the staff were exceedingly unprofessional. It's beyond me how this restaurant managed to receive 4 stars.

A nice pub in Downtown Kingston. Friendly old style atmosphere with a modern menu.

Parking: Depending on time of day or day of the week, parking can be free and plentiful, or paid and sparse. I like going downtown for lunch on Saturday or Sunday. There is usually plenty of spots available.

What a disappointment. We used to come as students, but had a terrible experience. We arrived with a family of three children and were hoping to sit in an area with a booth. We were immediately told that there was a large group coming in two hours time so we shouldn't sit there. I mentioned that we were just coming in for a drink and snack and would be gone well before two hours, but that didn't make a difference. It took over 10 minutes for the server to take our drink order when the restaurant was empty. My husband ordered the special of wings with a pint for $5 and he was charged $9 for the beer. The server refused to change the price, even though it was her error. We will not be returning here.

Food is frozen to fryer. Burger was dry, chicken bites were cold inside, took 15 mins to have someone take our order. No one came to refill water or ask if we wanted more cocktails. Just terrible. Worst food I've had at a restaurant in a while. Will never return.

We originally made a reservation online for 4, our plans changed & we modified the reservation for 6 2 hours before our arrival time. The host/manager stopped us and stated our reservation was ONLY for four & gave us a fair amount of attitude until his tablet “updated” & I pointed out to him it was for six when he held the iPad up to my face... During this, he made sure to fire off a silly comment saying he “encourages people to call when making reservations”, which if that's easier, consider removing TNO from online booking services. After being seated in a mostly empty pub, the server was VERY lovely, but, the service was slow. The steak and mushroom pies were great, as was the burger, but an order of chicken fingers was inedible. This would be a great spot as just a walk in guest for pints only.

If I were Finn MacCool’s I wouldn’t want my name on this place. Music wanted to make us leave. Food made us wish we had.
5 of us and the only good thing was the waffle fries.
Won’t be back.
Wish they hadn’t removed the curry from the menu!

Kid-friendliness: Not really but music made us feel like we were at a child’s birthday party.
