This old school Irish pub is a great place to chill. We got the table in the front beside the bar. The bartender was very friendly and funny. He made sure we were comfortable and shared some laughs with us. The food was also good. We got a Mushroom and beef pie and Grilled Cheese with jalapeno and banana peppers. It’s located right in the downtown so you can walk around and have a good time there.

Great place. I loved the atmosphere. The place is huge and it never feels too crowded (which is nice!). I would've preferred my beer a little bit colder though! :)

Double stacked chicken sandwich wasn’t double stacked- both chicken thighs were so small they fit on the bun side by side. They were so dry and crispy. Salad was served in a warm bowl- not very good to be honest. Our bartender/server didn’t know the menu very well and when we asked for something they said it wasn’t a thing and we had to show them on the menu it was an item.

It was a very cold and windy evening, we scored a parking spot close to City Hall where we would be sure to many fine dining places to choose from for dinner. We walked in and instantly felt the warmth and inviting atmosphere chose a nice cozy table in the front room. First time guest might admire antiquities and elegantly crafted copper ceiling panels. With rising prices of things these days it’s become a challenge to find a restaurant that will make you feel comfortable satisfy your cravings and get your money’s worth where a business values its customers; Tir Na Nog Pub (beautifully appointed heritage building and popular local landmark Prince George Hotel), is one of those rare establishments that maintains its original reputation offering classic pub fare, generous portions of delicious and well prepared dishes, (many excellent vegetarian options ) our friendly and courteous waiter, Mike, made certain every thing was perfect .Business travellers will be delighted to find a menu that will appeal to every taste and seat every guest comfortably.

The burger was a little overcooked and the fries were cold, but the service was great. Maybe it wasn't a good night, but the service and environment are good.

Best bang for your buck in Kingston—food and alcoholI’ve said it before and I’ll say it again as I sit here finishing my Fish Tacos with Sweet Potato Fries and a pint of Guinness: this is the best bang for your buck in Kingston. The food never disappoints. I have ordered many things on the menu. Some of my favourites are the fish tacos and the Bavarian Brats. Delish every time and served with both speed and kindness at an affordable price. The atmosphere is fantastic. A large Irish bar with comfortable seating and great vibes. On top of all of this, best pint of Guinness in Kingston. Thanks Tir Nan Og!

Had a wonderful time. We were 8 plus our little sweetheart granddaughter. The food was exquisite and the service was too. I would have given it a 5 star right across the board other than some old guy that works there walking by constantly and giving us dirty looks like we were staying too long. As far as I'm concerned if you're still spending money then we have the right to be there. I don't care what one old fool thinks. My lady and I will definitely go back again despite this one hiccup. Maybe a total 5 star across the board will be in the cards.

I was there yesterday for a meal with a friend and I can honestly say that I will never be back. The calamari order I got was massive but tasted gross and was undercooked in my opinion. It was so bad that I only had a few pieces and it actually turned me off from the poutine I ordered. The soft drinks were tasteless and watery aswell. I have to admit that I hadn't been to this restaurant in over 5 years. I noticed that I couldn't find any of the of the items on the menu which brought me to this place before. I did however find the menu oddly familiar. After taking a picture of the menu and doing a Google search I figured out that this place is just Finn McCool's. This place is no longer your local pub it's just a chain and that's why the food sucks now.
