I love this place! It’s my first time having breakfast here — it was ok the quality and portion were good and they refilled the coffee! It was not the best breakfast I’ve ever had but you know, it’s a diner, so I didn’t expect much. :))

First visit yesterday lunch, Oct 13. Enjoyed the decor, found the earliest number plate was 1964, the year we got our first car. Intriguing menu but down hill for me after that. I chose the 6oz NY strip steak cooked rare. When it arrived It was the correct shape for a strip steak but the resemblance ended there. The whole piece inside and out was the same pinky beige in colour with the fat an uncooked white. I have never seen a rare steak like it before. The small piece I tasted was extremely salty other than tastless and mushy. The server explained that it had been cooked on a flat griddle to a precise temperature. I think it had been soaked in brine to remove any of the red that beef usual has. I also think the chef should go to Moronis and Muskie Jake's in Gananoque to see what a rare 6oz strip loin looks like. My meal was replaced by a Cobb salad that was good but yet again the grilled chicken was very salty. You have an interesting menu, please cut back on the salt.

always love a tommy's brunch especially the baby cakes ohhh it's delicious when you add blueberries and smothered in syrup 😛 omelette was great with pulled pork and onions, steak was medium rare and the eggs were cooked to perfection. overall great meal!!
