Amazing selection of flavours. I visited on a beautiful sunny day and enjoyed my ice cream by the water. Highly recommend

The flavour options were a little underwhelming. Tastes as you expect ice cream and frozen yogurt to be. The staff were lovely.

It was my 2nd visit since I really liked their soft serve ice cream. However, my friends came along and waited for me by sitting on the bench just outside of the shop. The employees were kind to service me but while I was ordering inside, one of the employees went outside to shoo my friends away. Then when I went outside after paying for the ice cream, a male employee came out to shoo my friends again saying "there are public benches down the road". Disrespectful attitude. If they were watching the bench outside like a hawk, then they would've noted that my friends were with me. Or could've at least put a sign on the bench that it was customers only. Another suggestion is to politely say "Sorry, this bench is for customers only." It would've been embarrassing if I sat on the bench with my friends with the ice cream of theirs in hand afterwards. My friends also visited their shop twice before to buy their ice cream. My friends and I will not come back to this place again with this unwelcoming environment. A deterrent for any recurring or future customers.

Huge portions and delicious ice cream. Loved the flavors and the history behind the ice cream parlour.

The last time I visited this place was back in high school in 1998. Just visited this place again this evening, since moving back to Kingston last year. Same great tasting ice cream as always. Wished they could have put the flavours at the very front so customers can see what options their are.

The cone and vanilla ice cream was sooo good! I got the caramel one which was frozen in the ice cream and a bit disappointing but overall still very good!

I am not sure about their ice cream quality - didn’t get a chance to taste one . It’s about their being overprotective toward the bench in front of their store. My 4 year old granddaughter and myself sat there less than 30 seconds, and there was not our intention to stay there much longer - as a man emerged from the store and told us to go and sit on a public bench not far from there. He was well within his rights to safeguard his private property, and I didn’t argue. Just be aware of only for customers bench and don’t get wrong ideas.. little ones can’t be an excuse for trespassing..

Overly sweet flavours (chocolate and sea scape). Requested a refund which was declined. Overall, did not meet expectations and would not recommend. Place next door turned out to be much better.

We decided to give this ice cream store a try. Like other reviewers mentioned, you can't see the ice cream so I was a bit lost on trying to figure out which flavor I wanted. We had to rely on the staff to rattle off each ice cream flavor's ingredients. I eventually settled on the Vanilla White Mountain Mix which was vanilla-based ice cream with chocolate chunks, pecans and toffee pieces in a waffle cone. Death By Chocolate was the other choice with a chocolate based ice cream with chocolate swirls, chocolate chunks, and chocolate flakes. I thought the level of sweetness was perfect since I'm not a fan of cavity-inducing levels of sugar. I finished the whole thing and felt like it was a light treat. You could taste the freshness in the ice cream in it's pure, natural state with no fillers, emulsifiers, or artificial flavours. The outcome though is that the flavor is delicate. I enjoyed the crispy cone that was crispy till the last bite.

Feedback: one of the reasons we didnt end up getting anything is because all the flavour names were confusing and we couldnt see what any of the ice cream looked like. The store was empty and four staff members were attending to us, which felt like a lot of pressure to decide quickly.
