We waited for an extremely long time, and the food was sub-par, and the service while picking up was terrible. The noodles were good, and so was the chow mein. As for the chicken, they put the sauces on the side which is great to maintain the crispiness of the fried chicken, however the sauces tasted so watered down it was so thin and barely had a fraction of the flavour. Will not be returning.

I went here as a kid in the early 90s I remember the owner who was very nice guy it’s nice to see it’s still open
We eat here as Odessa has no chinese food restaurants. You can't sit in with most of them. The food is so amazing and fresh. They are Hard workers and wonderful owners.

The place was dark and they had to turn on lights when we got in. Asked for hot water, they said they had to boil some. Food wasn't great at all. Would highly recommend else where.

Not really happy with my take out order. I ordered Shanghai noodles and tofu with mixed veggies. The Shanghai noodle dish had low mein noodles, not Shanghai. The tofu and mixed veggies dish (which was described as not fried tofu, came deep fried with maybe like 4 vegetables in it. I specially ordered this dish because I didn’t not want the fried version of tofu. I feel bad to write a bad review but this was the second time not getting what I ordered. Feels like they just threw together whatever they had. Unfortunately I had to toss out the tofu dish. What a waste of $50.

Ordered the beef and broccoli and dinner for 2 with general tao chicken, chicken fried rice and chicken Chow Mein.
Everything was flavourless and no chicken in any of the chicken dishes. Complete waste of money.
Used to be such a good restaurant.
Chicken Lo mein was horrible! Very little chicken and what chicken there was was tough and on the verge of being bad. Beef and broccoli was much better, meat tough and old. Everything was very greasy. I spent over $50 and couldn’t eat it.
Definition of mid. Orange chicken was nothing but batter and they skimp out on the orange sauce. Fried rice was good. Spring roll tasted odd but had good crisp to it. If you want Chinese takeout, I suggest you look elsewhere

Food arrived quick and was still pipping hot. Spring roll was nice and crisp, general tao chicken had a nice level of heat and sweetness. Fried rice had a good wok hei flavour. Portion size could have been larger for the price.
I was a bit disappointed with the food here. I ordered the General Tao Chicken dinner for two, but there was surprisingly little meat in any of the dishes. The General Tao Chicken was mostly just batter, and the Chicken Chow Mein was pretty bland (with barely any chicken as well). It seems like there are a lot of cost-cutting measures going on, but the prices remain high.
I bought a Tao chicken with fried rice and they gave me small potion it was not even enough for a single bite, had no chicken in it .don’t ever buy from here .
not good
Not the greatest food I've tasted, the prices are a bit over the top too. Not a huge fan but the owner has a great personality.
