Mettawas Station Mediterranean Restaurant offers a secluded, character-filled dining experience with excellent service and delicious food. The portions are generous and the staff, like Stacey, are kind and friendly. The Salmon and perch/pickerel dinners with garlic mashed potatoes are highlights, as well as the amaretto Tartufo dessert. While the escargot starter was a bit bland, the linguine pescatore and staggione pizza were hot, flavorful, and satisfying. The wine and beer selection is limited but good, and the overall atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. Prices are a bit high, but the quality and service make it worthwhile for a special occasion.
