Delicious food and very good service and nice atmosphere, we were sitting near the vintage gas stove was marvelous. Shrimp were excellent, chicken, chicken parmesan, fish & chips, cake, the dips, pickled Ceasars. Will definitely be back next time we're in town!

I had ordered two pounds of wings here, what I thought was a pretty harmless dish.
Woke up at like 03:30 sick as a dog puking and pooping my guts out. Very clearly food poisoning :(

Went to The Federal Tavern for date night tonight with my hubby for the 1st time and they did not disappoint. Their Mushroom caps were the perfect combination of crispy and juicy with a fantastic buttery finish (best I've ever had). The steak was cooked to perfection (which in this town is nearly impossible to find) and the sides complimented it beautifully. The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive without the awkward hovering that you get in some places. All in all Hubby and I have found our new favorite spot for date night. We cannot wait to return again. 20/10 recommend.
Parking: Parking lot is small so most Parking is taken by staff, leaving guest parking spots limited.

Good portions of food, friendly staff. I enjoyed the chicken parmasean, and had enough for another dinner. Only drawbacks, parking lot was full, restaurant wasn't...and it was a bit chilly inside on a cold nite, but I'll be back.

Excellent food, friendly and welcoming staff, good prices and cozy setting! My crew and I all frequent this spot when we are nearby for work.
Service is generally good, some servers excellent, others not so much. Food however is great, spinach dip is great, but the nachos are amazing. Cool atmosphere, good selection of beer on tap, great highballs.
Kid-friendliness: They are kid friendly for breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well.

It’s a cool little bar, food is horrible, definitely do not eat there unless you like grocery store stuff that you can make at home! Service was decent! Pirogies are 100% Cheemo pirogies from independent! Wings are awful! Bare wings with tobasco sauce or something added after cooking, poutine is absolutely disgusting! Old gravy and mozzarella instead of actual curds, considering Quebec is so close! Fine for a few beers but that’s it! Even viennas tavern is better than this place!
