“Tim Hortons did not cook more chili soup due to the time of day. This seems odd since it is open 24 hours a day. The menu changes throughout the day... This means you can not buy certain items if the time of day isn't correct. The restaurant is extremely clean, and well taken care of. The staff was kind, though most of the items weren't available.”

“Stopped in to order the Mexican and the stuffed crust, pepperoni and double bacon. We are up there once a yr to visit family, and there is no other place we consider.
Always great taste, done perfectly, freshly made. Always friendly. The store is clean, there is a window so you can watch them do the pizza dough. If you haven't been, I recommend stopping in.”

“The pizza is the best in Kirkland Lake and surrounding area in my opinion. They are willing to make a pizza anyway I want plus lots of people dont like my toppings and I dont want what they like so we get a pizza half and half, Delivery people are great and very helpfull and polite when they stop in. I have not had any issues with any of the products or wait times yet and it has been years of ordering from there”

“If you're looking for pub style food while passing through Kirkland Lake, the Fed Downtown is worthy of consideration. The food is modest but tasty, the service is warm and friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and rustic.

The menu features many typical country pub foods. Of special note are the chicken wings which they are known for by the locals, with many flavorful options available. They have specials on Thursday evenings for the wings. There are also surprisingly several healthier options including a selection of bowls that have extremely generous portion sizes and offer great value.

While the food might not win any Michelin stars or outstanding reviews in Food & Wine magazine, it is tasty, home style comfort food that also offers good value on many options.

The waitresses were warm and welcoming and I would definitely return if ever my path takes me through Kirkland Lake again.”

“i dont usually eat here...been years and years but options r limited in Kirkland Lake, Ontario and i dont like mr sub who used to be fantastic many many moons ago now has gone to shit! the first time i went service was great this last time i went was aweful! the employee was so non responcive it was annoying. i had to repeatidly ask for sandwich meat as she wanted to keep giving me shredded/chunk dried up chicken...everything i asked for i had to repeat. my husband was sitting waiting for me and could not believe the hassle this girl was...i asked about the soup and she showed me brocc cheddar soup so dried up and looking really bad...this lady should not be working here. the first lady i delt with a few days before this visit was awesome! i wish i could say this about my last visit. so with that said when i do go back and this girl is there i will promptly be walking out. smh!!”
