Friends, I've been coming g to 271 for many years (it used to be 271 King; they are just around the corner now).
Spectacular food, every time. The owner, Zee, and his two sons, take fabulous care of customers. And are genuine and down to earth.

I visited this restaurant today to introduce myself and offer a free sample of the greens I grow. I don’t know how this could be considered normal behavior but when I politely asked to speak with the chef or manager the person at the door interrupted me waved his hand at me as if kicking me away before I could even finish my sentence, and said (not interested) in front of customers.
When I told him he could at least speak in a more appropriate way, he replied, (You’re coming during my business hours and I’m not interested in doing business with you) in a very rude and dismissive tone.
If these are your business hours, this is exactly the time when people approach you professionally no one is going to come to your home to discuss business.
I’ve visited this restaurant before, but after this experience, I regret supporting it and I won’t be returning. I also wouldn’t want anyone I know to experience the same humiliation
I understand restaurants can be busy, but the way it was handled felt unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. A simple, respectful (no thank you) would have been enough
I wasn’t selling anything just trying to introduce myself professionally.

Great service. Awesome food! Highly recommend!! Family run, owner and his sons oversaw the whole meal. Def will be back. *Update February 2026* Food is still top notch. Broken down lasagna was one of the specials and it did not disappoint. Service was still good. That being said, our specific server could have been friendlier, but it wasnt a big deal. It was also nice to have the owner come and check in a few times.

My partner and I have been here a couple of times and both times have been great with great food and service. This restaurant is family owned and everything is made in-house and the menu is quite extensive. My one point of feedback is to change the music. For such a lovely and upscale restaurant with european food being served it would benefit to have lounge, jazz, or bossanova music playing rather than pop, this would elevate the atmosphere a lot. Always happy to come here !

We have travelled all over the world and I would say this Italian restaurant is compatible to any. The food, selection and freshness is second to none. It’s a family owned restaurant and the service is exceptional! They hold the door when entering and leaving the restaurant. They actually pour your beer in your glass, they package the leftovers for you at the end of the night. Might’ve small things but no other restaurants do this anymore. They have exceptional service and atmosphere makes you feel like you are part of the family. We just found this restaurant two weeks ago and it’s our third time there. Thank you 271 West!

Omg..you have to try this place ! Family owned and operated. Dan (son) was our server and he was fabulous..professional and knowledgeable. We had a nice chat. The pasta is out of this world. Homemade and fresh. I've never had anything taste like that before. I can not wait to come back and try the lasagna - which I hear is heaven on a plate. We were too full for desert but I am sure it would have been devine. Make a point of coming, you will not be disappointed.

Came to this place for the first time. My server was Dan. Sounds like it was a family owned buisness and Dan and his father were both the best. Was so kind, patient, and gave us the best suggestions. Not only was the atmosphere amazing!!! But the food was SPECTACULAR!! I got the spaghetti Bolognese and the pasta was homemade fresh and it was incredible. Would really recommend this place to anyone in the area it’s amazing. Thanks Dan and your family for being such kind souls.

We had an amazing dinner at this wonderful restaurant, which we visit often. The food is all delicious and made to perfection with care. And the service is second to none. Every time we are there, we see the owner going to all tables and chatting with his customers. You will feel welcomed and that your business is truly appreciated! Well done 271West!
