ABE ERB - Downtown Kitchener

The company I work for just did our Christmas Party at Abe Erb. It was a wonderful experience and easy to coordinate/book. Tony was super easy going and answered all my questions and on the night off the bar staff was amazing! Our staff commented on how great the food was, but specifically the appetizers were off the charts! Would recommend for any private party!!

The service was really slow. They said they had to check if any tables were available when there were lots of tables empty and available.

Service was exceptional! The drink menu abd list of craft beers was wonderful. Certainly something for everyone. We started with Hallomi Fries those alone are 5 stars. Can't wait to order them again. Salmon bowl was very very tasty, the steak frites was disappointing if I'm honest. My steak was cold, the chimichurri butter didn't even melt and I asked for it medium and it was purple rare. Not sure if they pre cook them then heat to order but I wouldn't order again. The fries and garlic aioli were great. Trust me, the steak won't keep me away. That menu is phenomenal and I can't wait try everything on it.

It took a few bites to realize the Korean BBQ fried chicken sandwich might have been left in the fryer far too long. In fact it tasted and looked burned rather than your typical crunch. The server was very apologetic but the manager felt a 50% discount on the meal was appropriate and didn’t even bother coming to our table.

Lots of stuff on the menu was interesting, we'll definitely be back. Blueberry chicken sandwich was amazing, great flavours! Fries needed to be a bit crisper. Service was great!

We started off well. My wife ordered a fish dish that was undercooked. It went back to the kitchen and my wife opted to choose to share my meal instead of waiting for another meal. When we got the bill they charged us for the undercooked fish that we sent back to the kitchen. That really put a negative skin on our experience. They have a great truffle dessert.

First time visiting Abe Erb. We were welcomed right away. Service was amazing. The patio was so comfy and welcoming. Food was incredible and portions were good. Only recommendation would be to have more than 1 server on a Sunday afternoon. She was busy!

Absolutely great place for a beer. The flight was a great way to try some samples then decide on a full pint. Games, music, even a speed-dating event during dining!! An absolute feast for the people watchers, even on a Thursday night!

The food: meh. Steak was over cooked, appetizers weren't exciting, no choices of sides really, corn ribs only come with one dish on the menu.

The service: understaffed. You'll wait to be seated. The drink order was wrong, forgot to mention long waits for certain dishes.

The atmosphere and overall feeling of the restaurant was great. It was really nice to have the option to play some games while waiting for our food. Everyone's food came out hot and tasted good. It was nice that they have a separate gluten-free fryer so I could have safe french fries! The beef on the Yorkies was very tough but the server took it off the bill and we were able to order something else instead. I would recommend this restaurant fully!

Falafel and pita tasted decent, but had 3 small falafels on it. Not great value

Good stuff not gonna lie. Came here for Mother's Day and it was a vibe. Food was solid and we were in a cool room with a tv. 🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺 Overall rating: five dancing dudes out of five

We attended a wedding ate ABE ERB, and it was fantastic! Cooks prepared a variety of hors d'oeuvres, which the servers walked around and served everyone. Service was amazing, from bartenders to servers to washroom cleanup, these people were on top of their game! The setting and atmosphere was excellent! Can’t say enough.

I can't comment on food because I haven't been here in several years, but they allowed us grab a quick drink and play mini putt & corn hole even though they were extremely busy & full tables. They could probably upgrade a couple of their putters/balls, but great time. They had the hockey game on too. Loved the atmosphere
