They have an expansive collection of board games compared to other board game cafes in the region. There are always events happening: Sunday l, board game meetup and drop in Saturday dnd open tavle, and trivia every second Tuesday to name some.
Amazing staff and friendly environment.

Super friendly, great vibe.
Great pizza and Americano. Reminds me of coffee shops I used to visit 20 years ago
What does ab asstra abossosque even mean
We were visiting the area and looking for something to do. Spent a good three hours playing a few of the endless board games available to play. A VERY reasonably priced outing!
Very friendly and huge selection, nice snacks too
We had a blast from the past.
Omg we had soo much fun here. Took my nephew to check this place out as we walked by and few wks back and really liked the look and vibes it gave off. And it did not disappoint. Retro and homey vibes. Felt right at home.
Soo many games to choose from, to old school video games- which I kicked butt in Mario brothers I might add 🤭 Not soo much for my nephew. We had a good laugh about it as I such at video games. They had arcade games and every board game you can think of. We enjoyed some appetizers, as well as an amazing hot chocolate and coffee.
The young woman working was an absolute doll. Thank you and sorry we didn’t get your name. You rock!!! Soo friendly and sweet. Made us feel welcome. Explained everything to us as it was our first time. Suggested a new game we can play, which was soo fun. Will definitely be coming back.
This is suck a great idea and great for EVERYONE. Family friendly. I can see someone coming here on a first date, or a group of friends playing games to get away from the parents and out the house.
The Beginning:
Whenever I crossed the street, I have always thought of exploring it as it looked very interesting from outside, but didn’t know this concept, we being from India. For New Year we thought to give it a try and the best thing is we took a chance of giving it a try!!!
Ambience:
Crowd is great… everyone has their own space but also feel included. Instagram worthy pictures lights and interiors
Service:
The best! The best!! The best!!!…. Really felt the staff in there are friendly and accommodating!!!
She explained me what the concept is and how prices work… I’m a vegetarian and non alcoholic…hence she suggested food accordingly…She took efforts to make a mocktail that matched our tastes
Games and food:
Our inner child kicked and we explored many board games scrabble, monopoly, jumanji, Jenga. Also remember super Mario and duck hunt? We can play them like we played video games in childhood with joystick!!!! Complete Nostalgia 🥹🥹🥹
Order French vanilla Latte, Nachos with Cheese Costed us approx 20 CAD may be and tasted good!!!
Cost:
10 per person unlimited time!!!
Thank you for the service!!!
Always a good time at The Guild. Friendly staff, great food and drinks, and a wide selection of games. They host fun events such as trivia, “lone wolf” nights, and more.

Best place to play boardgames in the city. Max and Susie were so accomodating 😁
Although the space gave off a cozy and guild like vibe. It was actually difficult to sit and play since the space is cluttered and not arranged well for seating and walking to see the board games. We had a worker ask us to put something away for them because the table and chairs was blocking the path to where they store unused things near the fireplace. We were already in a very tight spot and couldn’t move for them to put it away without us having to ask the people around us to move so that we could also move.
It seems like a lot of the traditional or popular games are very worn out to a point where it’s unplayable, had pieces from other games, or it was straight up missing pieces. This was particularly true for when we tried to play monopoly and tsuro. They also don’t have a good selection of 2 player games or card games. If they did, it isn’t organized/labeled well. The menu for food and drink as well was clutter and confusing to read since it had a lot of words I think D&D related but is was so cluttered and large even though there was like maybe 15-20 items in total that it made it difficult to find something to order. The front cash menu isn’t much better for readability either.
The people around us were mostly playing codename/codename duet and looks to be having fun so maybe if that’s what you’re looking to play then this is a spot for you. But in comparison to other board game cafes I’ve been to in Hamilton, Mississauga, and Toronto Adventurers Guild Board & Video Game Café was my least favourite.
Nice place, decent game selection. A bit crowded overall, hard to access some of the games behind occupied tables.
Parking: Public lots nearby.

The owner and staff are all lovely people, such a broad selection of games!! Love their retro consoles along with niche board games you won't find anywhere else in KW.

Only flaw to the Guild is a limited menu of food. But I play Pathfinder each week here for years, and will continue too for more to come.
Kid-friendliness: Many of the games present are appropriate for younger players, as well as a selection of retro video games, mostly Wii and Xbox 360.
