My husband and I have always held this establishment in high regard as a casually classy place for a date-night. Last weekend was our first visit in a while and we were a little disappointed in the changes since our last visit. The former atmosphere of rustic-chic appears to have been traded for a slightly more refined chain like Crabby Joe's or Boston Pizza. As always, the presentation of our meals were great and the service was friendly, but my husband's 'bun-to-meat' ratio on the steak sandwich was a letdown and the fries were limply underwhelming. Fantastic restaurant in Kitchener. All food is fresh and local. The portions are good value for the price. Lots of local beers on tap as well. Service is relaxed, not rushed. I recommend making a reservation if going for dinner on Friday or Saturday.Our favourite server has to be Luigi from Amalfi, Italy. He has a great personality, which makes your dining experience so much more enjoyable.

Ended up here from out of town as the wait for our first choice restaurant was too long, and what a happy accident! Incredible food, lovely staff and all very fair priced. 10/10 will be back for sure and this time it will be our first and only choice!Kid-friendliness: Very sturdy high chairs for our constantly moving 16 month old and very clean change table.

We had a family dinner here and i have to say this was an amazing experience!!! I ordered a mushroom pasta dish and added grilled chicken to it. It was THE best mushroom dish i have ever had, period. I love mushrooms, and this was amazing. The rest of my family had various dishes, which were all outstanding!!! My kids as well had a good time with their food and fun menus to draw on. To top it all off beautifully, our server, Luigi will be forever memorable. He had outstanding customer service, very knowledgeable in the fishes snd food, entertainment for the kids and bonus knowledge of Italy that went over very well with my inlaws. I heavily recommend this particular restaurant location, the other staff were equally very helpful and had top quality customer service.Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian options!Dietary restrictions: There are lots of dishes that meet everyones dietary needs from vegetarian, to vegan, to gluten-free!Parking: Easy spots to find parking even at busy times.Kid-friendliness: I would say they have the standard ot expected kid friendlliness, fun menus to draw on, easy to pick meals that most kids would love as well the staff clearly have lots of experience with kids.Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair access and parking.

Really good over all!This is a place I come to often, it’s consistent with the food quality and service.The food generally comes out delicious and cooked properly. I’ve tasted different varieties on the menu and their seasonal items as the menu changes, it’s usually a hit. I can’t say it’s always perfect but it certainly is in my top 3 places to eat! It’s really yummy and I recommend!If Luigi is working ask for him, he goes above and beyond and makes a wonderful impression and experience for dining in. He’s a huge part of the reason we continue to go here.Will definitely continue eating here! 5/5.

Food was great when it finally arrived. There was a very large and loud party seated next to us for most of our time there which wasn't the fault of the staff but it contributed to a less than stellar evening.

We were dining as a family for my birthday with our daughters and 3 grandchildren. Our server Luigi was an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived, he made us all feel welcome and since it was our first visit, he explained some history about the building. His attentiveness and proactive service to keep my grandkids fed ahead of us and then treated to some ice cream and a cookie was fantastic. Great food, and personalized service!
Right from the start to the finish of the meal was fabulous!!! Luigi was so friendly and gave us his recommendations…and they were on point!! To top of a great meal, was the fantastic drinks.

Excellent service and food. The value on their date night menu is amazing. The waitress brought us our entrees before the apps arrived, which we were confused about. Without expecting anything, and before we knew it, the waitress brought a gift card to use at our next visit for the mistake. It was a nice gesture although we didn't expect it. But will certainly be happy to visit again and use it.
