Love this place. Takes me back to a time when I was a kid. Greasy spoon diner and that's meant as a compliment. Love the crispy shredded potatoes. Not sure what I loved more....the food or the kind gentleman with a twinkle in his eye who cooked and served it to me. Definitely a hidden gem people should try.
I've been goin here since I was young w my grandparents and have continued to for many years. They always remember you and the service is amazing as well as the food! The home fries are next level, it's jus good home cooking and the place is like eating in their home lol looks a bit like a dive or hole in the wall but also what I love about it lol Hope it's around for many more years! Give them a try!
Agree with many other reviewers;Indeed owners are friendly and portions are generous including shredded homefries with onion. Peameal breakfast special seems like my favourite but it has been inconsistent.Sometimes burnt or puddles of grease. Eggs perfect one day and sloppy and black from the griddle another.Self serve cutlery and mediocre coffee..why?Pricing is strange too, a 7.99 peameal special gets rung in at almost $12 although I had no coffee. Really wanted to like this...
