I ordered a steak bowl and I might as well have gotten a can of dog food to put on top instead of their steak because it was actually disgusting. People always say burrito boys is better than chipotle… it’s definitely not… don’t eat here. They have plenty of awards on the wall but the last being 2020 what does that tell you. Canadian run businesses were much better.

This used to be my favourite Mexican chain, now I will avoid it like a plague. Last week I visited this location and there was an overwhelming smell of raw sewage throughout the store. The all-Indian staff was completely indifferent to the smell. I walked in - I walked out. This location is a health hazard and it’s time for the management to rethink their hiring practices.

Absolutely disgusting experience. My husband went to this location this evening and got a chicken burrito and ordered me a steak burrito. When he arrived home shortly after I took a bite and it was haddock… no worries mistakes happen. We give the store a call, and after several painful minutes of trying to explain what happened, we finally get the steak reordered. My husband drives over, gives the haddock to the employee and is handed the steak.
He walks back out to the car and a man asks “did you just bring back a haddock burrito?”. Turns out, they decided to just swap the burritos, leaving this poor man with a burrito that was already bit into. When they both confronted the employees, it was shrugged off like it was no big deal. They were remade, but what if both made it home AGAIN with an ice cold steak burrito, and a bitten haddock? ?
This is incredibly unsanitary and just plain disgusting. The employees weren’t at all apologetic and when my husband asked for a manager all he got was “he’s not here”.
Safe to say we will be taking our business elsewhere, god knows what else they are trying to get away with.

Chicken had an Indian spice taste (fine but wanted mexican) there was no ground beef option it was super disappointing. The staff was really nice though

I had high expectations when I came here because of the great reviews, but unfortunately, it was disappointing. I've visited Burrito Boyz in Toronto many times before, but this (700 strasburg kitchener )was by far the worst experience I've had. The Fryz Extreme was a letdown with a small portion size, and they didn’t even ask how much veggie or sauce I wanted in my burrito. The way they spread the beans in the burrito was poorly done. To make matters worse, I found a hair in my burrito, and when I pointed it out, the staff questioned whether it was really hair, even though it was clearly visible and covered in sauce.

These guys honestly make the best burritos and it's not even close. I've been to other Burrito Boyz locations and they don't compare. And on top of the great food the staff is super friendly, if you're in the area make sure you check out this hidden gem.
