Does this spot even need a review? It is so consistent with its offerings - delicious gluten free and vegan option food, paired with great coffee, and dessert! I have always loved the kale salad, and any GF muffin I can get my hands on. A KW staple.

The food was not very flavourful and definitely not worth the money. The worker there was not very friendly, and just stared at you waiting for you to speak. Very unsettling.

Central location. Vegan options. I, personally, could never recommend a place that I need to ask for utilities.

Really great place with vegan options, only issue was it took a long time to get our food. Couldn’t tell if it was because of how long the food took to prepare or because the cooks were chatting away

Lovely and quiet place for a snack and coffee. I loved the hospitality and the choices of food, perfect variety and allergy friendly/free. April and Tess were charming and worked very fast during the rush. Would definitely visit again!

Spacious and adequate seating indoors. Pretty nice location. Coffee I didn’t like so much I had a cappuccino.

I used to love cafe pyrus. Just visited from out of the city and noticed they no longer include sides with their sandwiches, $3 to add chips at $4.50 to add kale salad. $17 for an angry vegan sandwich that didn’t have onions when it was supposed to, 2 pieces of tempeh and a tiny amount of spinach on a bun. Portions are smaller than they used to be and much more expensive. Disappointed in a Kitchener staple that used to be so good. Sadly I wont be going back.

We had a Reuben and the griller. I liked my griller and the price was right. Tempeh Reuben onion jam was a bit off and lacked dressing!
Angry vegan is my go to!

Definitely a great option for those looking for a vegan, vegetarian focused cafe. Originally I didn’t even notice the BLT and other typical meat prominent sandwiches were made with plant based meats. I ordered a combo with their soup of the day. The soup wasn’t my favourite. It was far too watery with veggies that definitely needed some more time simmering. The BLT in the other hand was phenomenal and worth ordering.

I was desperately wanting a vegan breakfast and found Cafe Pyrus. My first time in I had the tofu scramble wrap with vegan cheese. Absolutely DELICIOUS. The serving size is a little on the small side but the taste is incredible. The cafe itself is nice and bright, open with a good amount of tables. I will return.

Amazing array of vegan drinks and treats, I haven't tried any of the meals but they also look amazing and everything can be vegan
