I think the atmosphere and restaurant are really nice. Balcony seating and easy option for takeout. Service was very nice. Food was meh. There was just too much sauce. I could barely taste the meat over the flavours of the sauce and it was so monotonous. I like the pineapple on the asada tacos. The chips and dip were good, nothing special and not really Mexican!

Tiny place, amazing food. My dining companions had the birria tacos, which were tasty enough. I had the Chancla, which at its core is a ground-beef sub grilled and pressed panini-style - but a *fantastic* and *delicious* one. Eating it is a messy affair but you will want to lick the plate. Order two - one for you, one for everyone else so you don’t have to share!

I was only in the area for a weekend so I couldn’t go back this trip, but I will definitely be going back the next time I am in town.

My favourite birria tacos in the city! The meat is so good, the tacos are always super crispy and the right amount of greasy. The owner is also very friendly :)

This has become my partner and I’s favourite dinner spot in Kitchener, the Birria never disappoints and is the best I’ve had in Ontario

This my favourite restaurant in DTK, can’t recommend it enough. The food is absolutely divine and probably the most authentic Mexican food around. Please do yourself and your stomach a favour by supporting this family run business!

Great Tacos and Vibes! Not a lot of seating but it's a intimate place for good Mexican food!

I will call out where things are due . Tacos where amazing every good tasty and delicious. We sat outside the patio which is ok .

Now bad experience. Sat out side like i said but had a broken table the was fitted by duct tape. Which wasn't a big deal at all but buy a new one. When I was ordering the dude like we don't have thing and that ok that's fine we can eat what you have means your food is good then.

The one stupid thing that gets me at the end of eating we had food left over so I go and ask for a take out box. They charged me 4 bucks... what restaurant charges you for a take out box. That's like using thier washroom and paying for the toilet paper like really. Just for that I think that hwy robbery and won't be back.

We went in about 45 minutes before close, we asked if that was okay because we were also willing to get take out and eat it on the patio. We were told that was fine and we could sit at a table. We ordered the chips and dip, which was tasty but they brought it out to us cold still, I brought it down for them to reheat trying to be quick since I know they want to close soonish. Brought back no issue. Birria tacos were super tasty. About 3 bites into the tacos though they came to remind us what time they close at. So we just asked for our bills and some boxes and wished we had just got take out. Our waitress didn’t speak the best English and it was a bit awkward asking her for the bill and boxes, and then they brought the terminal but there was no way to leave a tip? We would never not leave a 20% tip even with not the greatest service, but there was no tip option at all, and I only had a $5 bill on me so I felt awful. Kinda of an awkward experience I guess. And the smell of fryer is really strong- I had to put my clothes directly into the washing machine when I got home and my leather purse still smells a day later, and we were only there for 40 minutes. Overall excellent food, not the best dining experience. Would only eat on the patio in the future.

Really disappointed. As a Mexican, I would not recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Mexican food. I was looking for a place to celebrate Mexican Independence Day, and they completely ruined it for me. It was my first time there, and I couldn’t even finish a taco. We ordered the shrimp ceviche, but could barely taste the shrimp it was mostly onion. We also ordered the asada tacos, which were overly salty. We’re definitely not going back. Lastly, the service was poor. When you go to a Mexican restaurant, you expect warm and welcoming service, but unfortunately, that wasn’t our experience.
