Decided to go for the first time in years and I'm very sad about my experience, in the middle of ordering i was stopped so the staff could converse. My salted caramel and matcha lattes I got are very bitter and grainy. The salted caramel one just tastes like burnt coffee, might aswell be eating coffee grounds at this point. I also hate being that person but they did not put oat milk with my matcha latte aswell even though I asked and was very specific it had to be oat milk. As my aunt cannot have dairy at all, she's now feeling quite unwell. I definitely won't be going again. it was a waste of money too which really sucks

I had the worst experience of my time in Canada at this location.
Just coming out of Coffee Culture cafe
My wife and I were sitting inside the café when suddenly, without any notice, all the lights went off and the entire place went completely silent and dark. I also tried to open the door but it was locked. It was terrifying — we had no idea what was happening. We started panicking, and I even shouted for help, but there was nobody around.
Only after several more minutes did a staff member appear and casually say, “Oh, I was there only” This was shocking and unacceptable. Customers should never be left alone in total darkness like this without any communication or assistance.
This experience was extremely unprofessional, unsafe, and frightening for us. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The place is beautiful, a great spot downtown for a café, but the coffee was brewed automatically. The staff needs training. Don’t go expecting an exceptional cup of coffee.

Very nice spot. Coffee is lovely and the croissants are something special.
I had a very disappointing experience at The Coffee Culture Café in Kitchener. The staff was noticeably impolite while taking my order, which already left a bad impression. What made it worse was when I politely asked for sugar packets — instead of handing them to me, the staff member threw them toward me. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. A coffee shop should be a welcoming place, but unfortunately, this visit was anything but. I hope the management addresses this issue and trains the staff on basic customer service etiquette.
I have eaten at and met people here many times. It’s a great place to meet people in downtown Kitchener.

The food was fantastic! The café was beautiful and the seating was comfortable. I couldn't stop staring at the beautiful copper ceiling. Stunning!

Awesome icecap and cookies! ❄️🍪
Tried their icecap and cookies today — absolutely loved it! The icecap was super refreshing and the cookies were perfectly soft and tasty. Great treat for any time of the day. Highly recommend! 🙌😋

My 5 year old daughter really needed to use the washroom. I brought her into Coffee Culture and after explaining the situation was immediately told that the washroom was for paying customers only. I was only given the go ahead when offering to give the guy 3 dollars. I don't care what your rules are; you do not take advantage of small children like that! That was cruel and selfish. I used to patron that shop frequently when I lived near by. I will never spend a cent there again.
Super chill place

The name of the place doesn't fit to the coffee. The pastry with spinach was not seasoned. The matcha latte and the power smoothie(very sweet) was fine.
Food was terrible quality, service was even worse!
Decent food, cozy spot on the ground floor of the Walper Hotel. Big difference in the way I was treated when I had just checked out of the hotel and had a suitcase with me tho.
I ordered the strawberry hibiscus iced tea the other day and it tasted nice. Idk what you guys did this time around to my drink but it tasted straight nasty. Really weird.
I have been going to this location ever since i was in middle school so around 8 years now. I have always studied here growing up through middle school, high school and university. It’s amazing and I have showed so many people around and have brought them here. I have never ever have had any problems.
I recently went to this location on good friday with my friend to study for our exams. I recently introduced her to the study spot and she likes it so we went again. We order 3 Drinks which were amazing and we studied at one of the booths. When we first came in there was a group of maybe 8 people using up 4 small coffee seats to make a big table and the spot we usually sit in, the corner booth was reserved. We sat right beside the corner booth but we love sitting at the corner booth, i’ve certainly have always have. I went to order my 3rd drink and this guy, i believe him name is Nick. He had the worse attitude with me. I was waiting for my drink and my friend saw the corner booth was available and starts moving our stuff over and with a snobby attitude goes, “You guys are only studying so why are u sitting at the corner booth.” I say oh we came here a few days ago and we love sitting at the corner booth that’s all? and he goes “well it’s only for groups of 5 and over.” I say “ that’s weird cuz, one, the people who just reserved that seat only had a party of 3 and i always have sat at that booth and i’ve never have had any problems. And there’s people alone using up a whole booth and you aren’t telling them to move? He then goes on to say in these exact words “ well if i see a group of people, ill have no problem moving you guys.” …. Pardon? who feels comfortable saying that to anyone with a nasty attitude ??? I would’ve had no problem if he kindly said “sorry ma’am we have a new rule about the number of people who could sit at the corner booth.” we would’ve gladly moved. It was his attitude and way he was talking with me that completely threw me off.
Later throughout the night he literally was eyeing us down i wish i was kidding. We were so respectful as well, we both had headphones on and order plenty of drinks and do our own thing and he only bothered us the entire time. I wish he could’ve been nicer about it, if that rule were true.
I’ve attached pictures of others taking up a whole booth by themselves without him bothering them.
So rude and i’ve never experienced this type of customer service especially somewhere i have gone for 8 years. Nick’s attitude and customer service is terrible. We will be going to the waterloo location for now on.
