Hidden gem of Kitchener, better than most big name local brewers

Good beer, friendly staff and quality Charmin toilet paper.

Great little brewery. Enjoyed all 6 beers on tap, the zucchini harvest brown was the most intriguing of them all. Would recommend visiting if you are into breweries and in Kitchener

Fabulous! We were detouring due to an accident on the Rainbow Bridge and happened to see the sign for Counterpoint on the building. Stopped for lunch. Ended up trying a couple of flights. Terrific beer (Blender was my favorite!) Cauliflower, falafel, grilled cheese, and chicken sandwich were delicious!

Found two great beers here. The zucchini beer was incredible, however it was not available in take home cans. Also enjoyed the Tie Hard.

This is one the best small batch brewing operations around. Always delicious.

Went in to check them out. Had one sip of thier sampler and left. Sampler was off and there is nothing worst then bad expensive beer. Have not even wanted to go back.

3/5 - Website experience, value5/5 - Experience AT brewery, serviceWhenever I visit a new City, I always inevitably check out their breweries and Counterpoint was one that I missed last time I was in Kitchener. However, I was able to catch them this time! Before you head out, check out their Hours of Op via Google. They're closed half of the week and they open relatively late.I'm a bit torn about this brewery as I had a pleasant visit and the lone female running the place was awfully nice. However, $8/can of beer??!! I did ask the girl if my eyes were deceiving me and she confirmed that their cost of materials/operation went up significantly after the Pandemic. :(I completely understand this, especially since they're a small batch brewery. Although I feel for this small business, $8/can is completely cost prohibitive.Their Pints ($12)/Flights ($15/4 x 2oz glasses), although on the "higher-end" is inline with other bigger city breweries. Not sure how they keep these prices within normal range while their cans are about twice that of LCBO/Beer Store!I don't know whether to feel bad or complain about this pricing, but I'm sure they already know the general sentiment about this. One thing that I MUST complain about is that they offer a store discount if you subscribe to their newsletter off their website. However, there's very, very little available online as most of their items seem to be "sold out". Not a great impression on that offer.
