I'm honestly surprised this place is still in business.
We got seated quickly but we waited about 10 minutes for our orders to be taken and to get water
Wait for food was around 20 minutes which is whatever, sometimes you don't have enough chefs on
The biggest kicker was after had finished eating it took nearly 20 minutes to get our plates cleared and the bill.
Just an insane amount of waiting when the restaurant isn't even busy, barely any customers and it took us almost an hour in and out.
Food is mediocre as well, if you want good breakfast in the area do yourself a favour and go to Korner Kitchen

Excellent Montreal smoked meat and eggs breakfast! I ask for over medium, and thats what I get, consistently. The breakfast comes with fried potatoes (on the grill, yum!), and toast (white, brown or rye).

This place is great. Perfect ma and pop restaurant. The prices are good and the servings are big. Staff is attentive and we have never had a bad experience here. The breakfast and lunch are both very good. If you have never been here definitely come and check it out. Its a kitchener staple.

My husband and I went for breakfast and we were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant overall! Great atmosphere, a bit nostalgic, good sized food portions, tasty and fabulous service. We felt that the price was a little on the high side for a homestyle type of restaurant but that's our only teeny negative.

Don’t go by the looks of the outside of the building when you arrive! The food and service are amazing! They have good gluten free bread as an option with their breakfasts and are very accommodating.

I was very shocked when I first arrived. Did not look like much and entrance not clear but when we went inside we were very please. Friendly staff. Great food. We had breakfast...huge portion. Ever back in the area I would come back

Had the Slovaki wrap, the meat wasn't seasoned correctly which is the whole reason to have it. My brother had the chicken parm which wasn't edible, it was burnt and needs more cheese and a different sauce. Breakfast however is always amazing, milkshakes also incredible.

Was there today, waited for one hour to get our food. Understandable that they are busy but three table next to us came way after and got their food. Asked our server that how long will our be taking? She replied “it’s still not ready.” We were super hungry but walked out. Would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.
I had liver and it was tender with lots of sautéd onions. My aunt and I have both had the fish and chips and it very good. The portions are generous. Wait staff is friendly and helpful ( had substitution for fries because of diet restrictions) and accomidating.
