I feel bad posting anything negative about a local small business but I don't want anyone else to experience what we did.I was so excited to order another cake from CS Backed Goods for my sons birthday.It took over 3 weeks of calling, messaging and emailing to finally book my son's 5 year birthday cake, and can't explain the stress that caused. Finally locked it down a week before the party. I sent all the images needed for what I wanted. I was happy on the day of.The cake appeared to be what I asked for the the package so i drove away excited.When we opened up the package at the party we were so disappointed. The little details we asked for, where so cheaply put together, the symbols I asked for where all peeling off, and the cake was the most dry cake ever! It kept falling apart when trying to cut each piece. Not one of the 15 guests we gave it to, finished thier small pieces cake.I contacted the owner about this disappointment via email after having time to calm down about it, and NEVER heard back.I also might add this cake was 2nd cake I've ordered from this bakery.The first one was Feb 2022, the same size cake and the most amazing cake we could have asked for. The first one was a blippy theme, perfect in every way. Priced well ($45) and ready on time.The second cake only 2 years later with the same amount of effort asked for in the design, and was $25 more in cost than the first and it was so bad! I apologized to my family and son for his cake after spending more then we should have.Next time I'll just make it my self. Boxed cake, is way better then what I received from CS Baked Goods this time inFeb 2024.

I loved the design of the cake. It was just as I had requested and everyone at the ppl hall loved the design as well. It did originally come with only one pool que. I called and they made another one for me within 20 minutes which was amazing! I only had a couple of comments to make regarding the quality of the cake. I wish the outside fondant border was steamed so that it looked more "polished" and shiny. The other comment is about the cake itself. It was a bit dry inside. At first I thought it may just be me but a few of my guests that I asked an opinion of mentioned the same thing. I will definitely try them again as the customer service was amazing, but hopefully my next cake will be more moist and polished.

Gorgeous trendy 6inch marble birthday heart shaped cake. Affordable. Thick icing, beautiful pipping, easy to communicate with, and understood what I wanted from my inspiration photos very easily. Had trouble finding the location for pick up but the manager gave us their number and they directed us to the proper entrance. Will order again!!

I had an excellent experience with CS Baked Goods :)I had needed themed cookies for a birthday and they did not disappoint. They were almost too cute to eat! I was surprised that not only were they gorgeous but they were so delicious for a sugar cookie as well :) I would definitely recommend.
My custom “congratulations” cookies were beautiful. The recipient was thrilled with them. The various designs were exactly what I hoped for.

I order a cake for my godson birthday, It was easy to communicate with them, I was send some design and I picked one, it was a simple Dragon Z cake, at pick up the cartoon was much smaller than the picture but what shock is was the fact that the balls used as decoration were styrofoam. I served it to one of the kid that brought it back because it was too chewy; cake pops are something quite easy to make or at least I could had been told at pick up. It was a kids birthday party if you at going to decorate a cake it should be edible.For a $65 cake the number could had been done in icing or something to look a bit more neat than just the thin black writing.The cake itself good but the icing was thick on, it made it very sweet.
