Darlise Cafe is the only place we will go for eggs benedict because the quality here exceeds everywhere else! If you want to get seated without a wait, be sure to arrive early (I find before 9-9:30am it's not usually too busy). But really, if you have the time it's worth the wait! Service is amazing! The owners clearly care about their customers and strive for quality in everything they do. The chef has some incredible dishes on the menu, but honestly I can't bring myself to order anything other than the eggs benny's because they're just so good. My fiance and I usually split the traditional eggs benny and the chicken and waffles eggs benny, both are incredible. Anyone looking for a cozy cafe with impeccable food must try Darlise Cafe!

It’s been quite a few years since I’ve been, but I was so happy to be back. We had a delicious breakfast this past weekend. The food was amazing.

The service was a little off on arrival, but Liz was amazing and made up for cold start.

We had the benedict, blueberry French toast and classic breakfast, with coffees and a smoothie. Everything was full of flavour, super tasty and reasonably priced. The tropical jam is literally to die for!

My only critique, play some music!! You could hear people eating and the dull drone of the fridges and vents.

Extremely slow even with a reservation and took an hour to get our food...which was cold

I have been coming to Darlise cafe fairly regularly with my boyfriend. The food is incredible. I decided to change up my usual order of the blackstone benedict to the chicken, brie and cranberry quesadilla. The chef didn't disappoint 🙂 I was especially pleased with the food. Compliments to the chef.

First visit yesterday, definitely not the last.
Had the Chicken Brie Quesadilla, fantastic!
My wife had the Crepe of the Day, equally as fantastic.
Will not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

Cute spot for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Highly recommend any of the eggs benedict with the house hot sauce if you're looking for an amazing combination of flavors! Also has pretty solid vegan/allergy friendly options.

Great place to eat! Very comfortable atmosphere, amazing staff (Liz was a great server), food was really good and came out quickly. Music was good (subtle modern pop). They have really good hot sauce here. Plenty of spaced out seating.

Very disappointed. Incredibly slow service, breakfast took 2 hrs for our group of 4. We had a reservation and still had to wait 20 min for our seat. Had the Cali bowl and it was over cooked and dry, the mexi bowl was over cooked and dry as well. The table water tasted like rust and the ice machine was broken. The wait staff was friendly but apologetic. The coffee came quick and was great.

Love the food and the atmosphere. Definitely the best breakfast place in town hands down!

I’m always looking for new brunch places to try, and today I chose Darlise Cafe!!! So delicious, I cleared everything on my plate! I love that they give the option of yogurt and granola instead of potato’s. They also don’t up charge for multigrain toast like many places. The sausage and eggs were delicious. My only small complaint is they give you a jam sample of their house made jam, but it was barely enough for half of the toast. It was very good though. Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality. The service was great. It’s a hidden gem tucked away in downtown Kitchener, and I will definitely be back!!:)

We love this breakfast place. We have been regulars for many years and have never been disappointed. The kid's menu has some great items on it, and my kid always enjoys the generous but appropriate sized portions of fresh and delicious food. The homemade peach jam was a particular hit. We always enjoy the french onion soup and the eggs benedict, the daily specials are usually really tasty, and the service is so friendly. Staff are usually open to making adjustments to the menu items also. Whether we come for breakfast or lunch the food is great.
