I used to really enjoy this place, I find the quality has definitely dropped over the years. This location is nice but they seemed to close the Ancaster location without any announcement to their customers. They have also closed the Waterloo location as well as Brantford with NO announcements. I also can’t help but notice they shut off their comments as well on social media. Judging by their replies on some of the reviews they can’t really take any criticism either. There were four locations and now there is one… take that how you will.
Update your customers, they spend their hard earned money at your stores.
Ps. Your website says you still are operating four locations maybe update that as well.

This place used to be great, now the atmosphere is weird with post-it note signs , you have to ring a bell when you want to order which feels like you're disturbing them...we got 6 and majority were not fully cooked and all had clearly been cooked when the oil was too cold or left to cool improperly. Donuts were overly sweet and over glazed, and fillings were watery. We all ended up with headaches and disappointment. Would not recommend since ownership or something here changed.

Hot diggity, I'm leaving a review to make sure I come back here. I popped in from out of town after checking out the thrift shop next door. Boy am I glad I did. What this place misses in appearance/atmosphere, it more than makes up for in terms of gourmet donuts. We picked up 4 doughnuts, and enjoyed every one of them. If I have to pick a favorite, I have to recommend the Lemon. Fantastic.

Great donuts and friendly service. I only wish they had a place to sit down. Will definitely go back.

Not great, barely any picks, never Any staff Horrible place unsatisfactory unsanitary overcharge for absolutely sloppy made oversized in my opinion. Disgusting donuts full of grease has gone downhill since they first opened sadly. So sad. No effort put in! Literally could care less about their business They took away the most amazing donut which was their peanut butter jelly indicating it was the least selling donut at the beginning one opened. It was the most popular donut so make zero sense whatsoever and now the store literally makes zero sense whatsoever. Let me walk and there's not even a person in there. You can ring the bell and wait 25 minutes and still not get service. The place is absolutely filthy

Bought 6 donuts, $20. 3 of the donuts tasted like the oil was not hot enough. They had absorbed enough oil to change the texture and flavour. They were also filled donuts. There was very little to no filling. If I went in at the end of day I might understand absorption of the filling, however I was there at opening. It used to be fantastic, now I can't say it's worth the price tag.

Donuts not filled AT ALL second weekend in a row! We ordered 3 dozen for a party and the raspberry filled had NO filling. The week prior the Blue Unicorn had no filing and we had to put a note on the order to make sure there was filling for our baby shower. Now I’m seeing all these reviews on new owners and it’s extremely unfortunate that this place must have new owners that are just ruining it / cheaping out. Not to mention, they got rid of the pink box AND charge you for additional packaging to not have the donuts squished together! Take a look at the empty donuts we received compared to what’s advertised.

Debrodniks used to be my favourite donut shop - the donuts were fluffy, flavourful and delicious. In the past couple months, I understand ownership has changed, and subsequently, the quality has declined significantly to the point I don't bother spending my money here. I wish they would focus on the quality of their donuts instead of offering sandwiches or bagels….. I hope to see them do better in the future.

Must have changed ownership. The doughnuts are so gross now. Taste like the fryer and the filling is not very good at all. Used to be my favorite doughnut place. I am sad that I spent $20 on garbage treats. :( won't be going back.

Use to be my favourite donuts, my son just brought one home and the recent reviews are correct. Not the same, would have preferred a Tim Hortons donut and there made in a factory.

This USE to be my favorite donut shop abd I haven't been here in a while. I was so excited to cone back. Dropped by today after work and when I saw the donuts behind the glass I thought I was at the wrong store. It didn't look fresh at all! But I ordered anyways because I loved them. Order half a dozen . Got the box and was sad to see it wasn't the pretty pink box they use to have. Took a bite in my car and the coconut one had fluff or some kind of white puff stiff to it. But because I love donut I took it off and ate it anyways lol. It was so gross! Tasted like old oil, had a waxy taste to it and the filling was different. The cream on the top fell off. I was so disappointed! Tried another one( the boss) which use to be my favorite, and that was disgusting too!. What happened?! They must of switch owners or something. It was completely different. Looks, taste, and everything. So sad....

Owner chased me out after looking at the donuts and seeing nothing I liked; she chased me out telling me they were open which was not the issue. Oof on the management she seems deranged!!! Also side part; the donuts have been awful since they’ve divorced.
I dropped by yesterday to pick up a few donuts , figured out 12 was cheaper than 6 . I brought them home and we decided to have one after dinner . I tried one , spit it out , tried a 2nd spit it out % gave it last try . Spit this one out as well .
I had to brush my yeeth several times to get rid of the disgusting taste in my mouth .l sent a message to the owner yesterday but have not heard back . Never again
Freshly baked donuts. Yummy. Bought 4 donuts came out to over $4 each. Little bit pricey. You get what you pay for. You can taste the freshness. Tim's is a disgrace when it comes to Debrodniks taste, freshness, uniqueness and assorted flavours. Quality at its finest.
