Don Julio Tacos and Tequila Bar offers delicious food with great flavor and presentation — every dish tastes fresh and well-prepared. The ambience is lively and welcoming, making it a nice spot to hang out with friends or enjoy a casual evening. However, the portion sizes are on the smaller side for the price. The real highlight is their refreshing drinks — definitely a must-try! Overall, good experience but could improve on quantity.
A great cocktail spot, very central in downtown Kitchener. I have been working my way through their delicious drinks menu for several years. We especially love the spicy Mango Habanero and Jalapeno Margaritas. We always try to pop in when celebrating a special event, we most recently went there for a drink before our reservations at 271West and Kinkaku Izakaya. We have also got to try some of the very high end Tequilas there, not normally available elsewhere (like Clase Azul)....
We came from out of town with a group of ladies. It was such a great night! The food was incredible and the space was fun! The ceviche, wow! The tacos were unreal, so much flavour and all so unique! The real highlight was our server, Abby. She was so passionate about the food and took her time to teach us about authentic Mexican cuisine and tequila! She was so friendly and made an already great experience even better! We will be buying coconut tequila! Thanks for a wonderful evening!
