Ordered delivery (over the phone) waited an hour only to be told it is $47 for this order. I ordered combination plate 4 and 6. Look at the prices, as I have provided a picture from their website. ($8.95 and $10.95) They also wanted to charge $7 for delivery and I live very close, and was not told what the price would be. So they arrive here and the poor delivery driver says this has happened before. He took the food back and now I am sitting here not sure what to do. I called them back and spoke to the owner and mentioned they were dishonest about the price and he just blamed me saying I should have known it would cost more based on what other restaurants charge. He said that must be old prices from 30 years ago, yet is likely not due to showing the 519 area code as we did not use that 30 years ago, but I digress. Other places show their accurate price and don't lie to you though. Used to love this place, it was the best. I'm in shock right now and not sure what to do. How can a business run like this?

100% value for money, portions are generous! Friendly and fast service. We ordered for lemon chicken, sesame chicken, Cantonese chow mien and egg roll king fried rice - to go. Would say the taste is okay. Cantonese chow mien is a little bit under seasoned.

My eggroll was delicious. I lost my car in the parking lot and decided to cab home.
Wow! Tasty is an understatement. The food is fantastic. The service is good and it was made in no time. We didn't know it was only take out (though there are tables and chairs inside if you would like to eat there), and we ordered, and the wait was less than the expected time. I will go back 100% when I come back to Kitchener, and then I will remember to take a picture before all the food is gone. That good! Right price!

I’ve been going to egg roll king for over 10 years and have never been disappointed. The owner is absolutely amazing and very friendly, always a pleasure to see him when I pick up my food. This is the only place I’ll ever order Chinese from and that wont be changing. I’ve never had any issues with the food, other than eating too much since it’s sooo delicious. Everything is packed with flavour and authentic. I’ve introduced many people to Egg roll king and everyone agrees that it’s the best place in KW to get Chinese. Shoutout to the egg rolls, chicken fried rice, and the wontons, they are absolutely to die for.

Well I heard good things about this place. I got the lo mein with beef and from the pictures as you can see. First of all it's $20 for this plate so I was expecting it to be full when you see the noodles and they are simply soup noodles thin ones cheap as hell and my plate isn't even half full. Very disappointed on the quantity of food I got for that price and then the flavor is pretty bland. There's nothing special about it so that's why I'm giving it a two. Hey, their spring rolls might be good but the lo mein I would not recommend
