I ordered the 5pc shrimp and chips with a side of gravy.
The shrimp were okay, nicely battered but I've learned I don't like the texture of jumbo shrimp and I felt this was the fishiest tasting shrimp I've had. I would not buy it again.
I don't like seafood sauce or tartar sauce so I tried the shrimp with a side of plum sauce and with the gravy. Oddly enough the shrimp with the gravy was better than I thought it would be but it was horrible with the plum sauce.
The shrimp came with a side of coleslaw and it was a delicious. It was so creamy, with a great quality mayo, it was fresh and probably the best coleslaw I've had in a long time.
The chips were sweet, too soft yet firm like a mochi meets tofu texture and were not nice to bite into.
Lastly the gravy, it was a pretty good gravy, I just didn't love it but it did improve the shrimp and chips.

Can't go wrong with the price to value, I recommend going. $10.30 special for lunch 2 fish and chips. Chips taste like hand cut. Super minor recommendation if the owner reads this review, I'd cook the fries extra 30 second for a tiny bit more crisp but still 9.5/10

Was told in 15 min but I sat there and wait more than 30min. The moment I enter the restaurant I smelled over used of oil smell. Like I suspected the fish and the chips smells old oil . This is health hazardous will report to public health. There is no respect and nothing excuse . Not professional. Not recommended

Fantastic fish and chips. The fries are so good. Service is very good, quick and friendly. Had the haddock and fries. Two huge pieces of fish. Not greasy, just tasty. I go here all the time. Price is reasonable.

I went there Saturday evening. A 10 minute promise became 55 minutes. No apology. No excuses. Please sit & wait. Little seating unless you wish to dine in & even that is not the best! The fish was soggy & not fully cooked. Chips were good but were greasy & cold. Needless to say.... we were not impresed. This location was our favorite. Not any more. Overprice, poor service & the product has dropped from a 10 > 2. There are far better Fish & Chip locations just arount the corner!

THE BEST fish & chips in KW and area! You just can't beat their fresh cut fries and their delicious fish that perfectly made. I just love their Cole slaw & would go for it by itself. The prices are great! They have lunch specials for dinners as low as $10.99. Their family takeout dinners are a great deal also. We've had them several times and have always been impressed. The restaurant is exceptionally clean with beach like decor.
