Franklin Pizzeria & Restaurant is a locally owned establishment.

The pizza was good, our favourites were the deep dish pepperoni pizza and pickle pizza. The chevaps were really good as well and a hit with the children.

Newer owners, newer dark theme interior that settles customers into a cozy ambiance atmosphere. There is a small bar with an accompanied TV to have a drink while waiting. A great place for a laid back date night hidden gem.

Exterior is the only thing that needs a facelift and (if possible) to create a small outside patio, much like downtown, that really would really attract more people.

Best pizza and service in the city

I was excited to try a new place after a colleague of mine had rave reviews from a panzerotti, and while I appreciated the opportunity to buy from a local, independent place, I was unfortunately left somewhat wanting.

We ordered a large cheeseburger pizza and mac & cheese bites. The pizza had a nice crust and was cooked nicely but the sporadicalness of the toppings was noteworthy, and it did not have enough cheddar cheese or ground beef to make it feel or taste like a cheeseburger. It just tasted like a cheese pizza with a small sprinkle of tomatoes, onion, and beef; it wasn’t a bad taste, but it wasn’t what we expected or were hoping for for near $30.

The mac & cheese bites were tasty, no issues.

While I likely would not return based on the pizza experience (perhaps the panzerottis are better?), I completely value the local business and wish them all the best 🙌

Never dined in always did take out but it looks like a nice place to sit down and have some food. We always get the capriciosa pizza and it's consistently always good!
