Half a block from the Kitchener Market, Fresh Ground is the coffee shop you and your friends have been looking for. There are plenty of tables, so I felt comfortable taking out my laptop to get some work done. The menu is limited but what they offer is delicious, reasonably priced and hearty. They know how to make comfort food. The carrot cake was one of my all time faves and the soup was amazing. All that and this is a Working Centre restaurant too. You should come.

Amazing service by cashier today. The strawberry matcha was amazingly good. They make fresh strawberry mix sauce and perfect together. Not too sweet.

A more traditional style of espresso (for darker roast lovers) but they make it well. I would come here again, better than Tim's or Starbucks. Kind and friendly staff, I believe some are volunteers actually. This cafe is a credit to the community. Hope it stays in business for a long time.
