We were in town for a night, staying at a hotel down the street, and were pointed in the direction of the Golden Hearth. When we arrived (Saturday morning) there was a small line up, a good sign! The smell was intoxicating and the selection was spectacular! We chose a country sourdough loaf, pain chocolate, almond croissant, and a croissant bread with almond cream, pistachios and cherries. All of the items were great, clearly all baked with love and care! The absolute standout...
Always fantastic food! Kind and helpful people at the counter make the mouthwatering pastries and savoury breads worth the wait in the lineup. I know why we line up. Bravo Hearthers!
I visited this place for the first time last week, and we bought croissants there. We were surprised at how delicious they were. They were incredible. The owner was kind and friendly. I will be visiting this place frequently.
