I’m extremely disappointed. I wanted to try a halal Hakka Chinese restaurant that was close to home, and after seeing some positive reviews I gave them a shot. I ordered a large hot and sour soup for takeout. As soon I got home and opened my soup, it was a literal JELLY CLUMP. I was so shook like beyond shook as I’ve never seen this from a Chinese restaurant before. I was disgusted I wanted to throw up. I am so disappointed that I wasted my money when I could have gotten an amazing quality Chinese soup elsewhere. This is not okay.

Hem's Hakka offers a decent dining experience. The Hot Garlic Chicken had a nice flavor, but the Schezwan Fried Rice lacked the expected kick. The Hot and Sour Soup was satisfactory, though a bit too tangy for my liking. The overall ambiance and service were fine, making it an okay choice for a casual meal.

I was hungry and my friend recommended I order from this restaurant. I let him order, and soon the food arrived, I don't know what it was, but it was amazing. I think it was sesame chicken with noodles or something, it was so flavorful and delicious, I would love to order again :).

We ate here for the first time- a group of 12, without reservations: the staff were quick to accommodate us, very gracious in the service and most importantly, the food was excellent.Every dish ordered was perfectly cooked, and they even accommodate the 3 children we had with us- with quantities and spice levels.We had brought a cake with us for a birthday celebration and they accommodated that as well without any issues.Excellent experience, excellent service and we came all the way from Brampton and would come back again!! Thank you!
Very grateful this place was open on Christmas day so we could enjoy their DELICIOUS food. Everyone working was very friendly and the service was very quick and accommodating! So many good options it was hard to pick from but the Thai chili chicken and honey fried potatoes were some of the most flavorful food I've had in a while. Cant recommend enough

Very pricy for what you get. 3$ extra charge for an upgrade to fried rice but the portion was very small and maybe 2 pieces of egg in it.

Worst place to eat.There rating is fake making people fool.Ordered Veg Hakka Noodles,Momo's and karayi chicken gravy.The noodles were very dry and seemed reheated in microwave.Momo's tasted very bad as if they have added some extra spices in them.Overall the food quality was soo poor that we left the whole food as it is.Lady on the front counter was making weired faces and she charged us $50 for all the whole food.Don't go to this place its waste of money.Disappointed will never go back again.
