Excellent place and tasty European balkan food

Supper was good, desserts were excellent and inexpensive. I ordered three.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely dinner here. I had the rolled pork stuffed with cheese and my husband had the goulash. My meal was great, though I would have preferred it without the tartar sauce they drizzle on top. My husband's goulash was fantastic and I will definitely be getting that the next time I come here!

The desserts a bit of a hit or miss - the tri lecha cake was delicious, but the tiramisu was a miss.

Overall, it was a great meal and I would come back.

The food is excellent, staff are friendly and great value. If you come away hungry that's on you. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 was the parking is nor the greatest.

Thought I’d try something new. Got the cabbage rolls. $40 for 4 rolls and some bread, not very tasty, lots of salt. Tastes like they microwaved it.

Get your pork rinds and roasted meat here!!! Amazing food

The Jasna experience starts at the door and feels like home to most Eastern Europeans, with the same genuine, down to Earth service included. Follow the amazing smells and start in the restaurant in the back. Try every kind of coffee they have. Try the krempita. Try the burek. Try the cutlets. Try the chevapi. Once you've had your fill, get lost between the aisles of niche teas, chocolates, and herbs. Before you leave, grab some kefir, smoked meats, cheeses, and bagged loose leaf tea. Enjoy it all!

You can dine in or take out and eat good homemade food. The portions are phenomenal. It's also a deli a so you can get all your meats to take home as well.
I highly recommend it if you're in Kitchener for a good homemade meal.

Slovakia Family Diner!

Tucked away behind a grocery shop, the food here is authentic, fresh, and made with love.

The portion sizes were generous and I loved the cevapi. It’s like a eastern europe sandwich but the beef inside is less salty and juicier.

The dessert was not too salty but has too much cream and was too fat for me. I prefer something with less custard and filling typically.

Having served as a grocery store and deli for years, this establishment holds many cherished memories for us. I recall the joyful days when my friends and I would ride our bikes here for vanilla ice cream after spending time at Victoria Park. I genuinely believe this restaurant deserves recognition from the City of Kitchener and a feature in Grand Living magazine for all the love and joy it brings to the community.
