Definition of a hole in the wall restaurant.Went in not sure what to expect, and while the signs outside do show shawarma and say it. This place is serves African cuisine.I ordered the Ful Meselah and had one of the funnest new experiences I've had in a while. Food was excellent and I think I'm gonna make an effort to come back and try something else off the menu just because of the delicious flavors I got to try.Nice spices, freshly chopped veg and the bread to go with it was great.
Wonderful to try some authentic food from East Africa. Nice people.Probably not exactly the way you expect to interact with restaurant hosts, but think of it more like you're being invited over. Go in with an open mind and I think you'll love it.
