The fish and fries came out piping hot and crispy but unfortunately it all tasted bitter due to the old oil it was fried in. I couldn’t eat much of it. The tables also needed to be cleaned a bit better. Nice customer service though.

Great food, friendly owner, I was initially planning on heading to Timmies but this was a really nice change.
Also there's some beauty in the building that maybe some can't see. It's like a time capsule.

The fish tasted like it was frozen and lacked freshness. The place looks like it hasn’t been updated since the 1960s, with only one working light bulb in the whole restaurant. It was cold inside, and the two small heaters didn’t do much to warm it up. The only positive was the friendly service, but overall the experience definitely needs improvement. Looks like this place wont be around much longer.

Daily Special of 2 pieces of codfish plus chips for $12 was a good deal. Preparation took longer than expected at lunch time. The decor seemed outdated with lots of stuff piled up in the shelves.

While the service was great the food was lackluster, the greasiest fries I’ve ever had along with gravy so watery I thought it was toilet water, the fish wasn’t terrible but won’t be returning.

Nice start-up with a good fish. The restaurant area is too small and thw atmosphere is smoked because of kitchen. Better to take out. Nice food for low price.

Quality is not the same as when they first opened. Fish tasted a little tainted. Service was rude, voiced our concerned and was completely ignored. My companion made the trip from out of town and was looking forward to eating there. She said she would not return again, nor will I.

This is the worst haddock I have ever eaten. The fish tastes like chemicals. I couldn't finish one piece and my daughter wouldn't eat it either.
Delivery was delivered quickly. That's the only thing positive about this experience.
NEVER AGAIN

Great customer service and quite affordable.
Unfortunately, I had diarrhea after eating their pollock and chips on Thursday April 24th, 2025.
Ordered from them and they canceled 30 min before it was supposed to come. Unreal
Regular customer. He knows our order. Great service
This was the best fish and chips I've eaten in Kitchener for a very long time and I really enjoyed it. Definitely worth the time to check it out.
Don't expect a fancy atmosphere, but the fish and chips are good and worth the price.
