Stopped by for lunch while we were in Waterloo. The parking lot was full but there was no wait for a table. The server was very friendly and checked in on us throughout our stay. Love the fact that they serve all day breakfast and lunch. Their portion size is very generous, so come hungry! We ordered the crab cake (the outside of crispy and inside was soft, it was seasoned a bit strong with black pepper), Berry Crepe (it was refreshing to see how much fruits they packed into...
It was a nice place that was well decorated, both the counter and seating area. I got a vegetarian omelette with oatmeal and a vegetarian skillet with beans, both of which were quite good. The skillet had scrambled eggs that were mixed eggs like an omelette but not broken up, which I actually prefer. The brown bread was quite good and buttered nicely. The beans were seasoned well and delicious. It was a good experience in both food and ambiance.
Excellent food and service. There are always long line ups, so be prepared to wait a bit. The food it REAL food, not pre-pressed, water filled, frozen food. The atmosphere is nice as well. Th3 price point is comparable to other ppaces - middle range. Highly recommend!!!
