Both drinks we had — the iced matcha latte and the hot latte were good, though there’s definitely room for improvement. The staff wasn’t particularly friendly or unfriendly. The atmosphere is cozy, but it’s always crowded.

Incredible spot - I only had time to grab batch brew to go on my days working in downtown Kitchener, but that tow of those days that meant a well-crafted geisha coffee? Next level work, folks.
Hoping that next time I'm in town I'll have an opportunity to sit and truly enjoy the space, which is also beautiful.

I really enjoyed my visit to Lucero Canteen. The coffee was excellent, and the croissants with raspberry were absolutely delicious — fresh, flaky, and full of flavor. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere made it a great place to relax. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!

By far the best selection of coffee in KW (at least since Show&Tell closed ;). Expert pour-overs. And that would be enough to keep me coming back. But they have so much more. I’m not just talking about the wonderful array of pastries. Every employee is delightful and seems to genuinely enjoy what they do. The way the sunlight pours in the windows in the morning, painting the warm tones of the interior with a soft brilliance. Everything just comes together to make this the best coffee shop.

Tiny coffees of average quality. The flat white was made way too strong and the flavour notes were dense, not very aromatic.
It was baking hot inside the cafe and the staff were unfriendly. The redeeming factor was the donuts. The custard was amazing, the donut soooo fluffy and not too sweet.

I was excited to taste their latte, it wasn't bad but it was incredibly overpriced. I got a pastry and 2 lattes and cost me nearly $20 which is insane! I enjoyed my latte but the pastry wasn't worth $6.10 if you ask me. Nothing against the baristas or the service, it was just crazy overpriced.

Ridiculously overhyped, overpriced. Food was incredibly mid for the price- flavourless & served cold. Zero signage of a laptop free cafe & no wifi. Loud, dark, cold environment. Espresso was obviously made without much care- was not a smooth shot at all. Don’t waste your time coming here

I love their pastries—the best in the area! The ambience is chill and cozy. Highly recommend!
I got a donut and peach danish to go, and the staff thoughtfully marked on the box which side had the cream so it wouldn’t get squished—such a lovely touch.🥰
