The best we can ever find here is the customer service. We had a waitress name chaitlia (sorry if I misspelled). Excellent customer she made sure we received the food on time. And also one thing me and girlfriend liked, she was always welcoming and smiling which is a difficult thing to do. In regards to the food we ordered chettinad chicken curry which was fantastic.

Worst I don’t want to again for $17.99 very limited food & coffee
Very bad service & ordinary food for $19 plus tax not worth it coming next ….. very bad experience
Firstly, I would like to tell you guys the buffet it was just amazing me and my friends loved it. The taste, the freshness it was on point. Additionally, i would like to tell you that the person with the specs really did a great job explaining us every detail and ingredients of the food. *His service was exceptional*.

We’ve been coming to this restaurant since it first opened, and the food used to be excellent. Unfortunately, the quality has gotten really bad recently. Our last few visits were very disappointing. the food was extremely salty and overly spicy. To be honest, we couldn’t eat anything and literally had to go to another restaurant for takeout, and ended up having dinner at home.
It used to be a totally different place. The bartender Parth used to take great care of our families whenever we visited, and we genuinely loved the experience. Sadly, that feeling seems to be gone now. Most of the staff don’t even smile at you anymore. I understand this might be a lot to expect, but Earlier, these were some of the things that made us want to keep coming back.
The ambience is still nice, and I don’t mind paying a higher price for a fine dining experience, but the food definitely needs improvement. Interestingly, the Saturday buffet still seems good, but the weekday food has been really bad lately. Some of our friends have also had similar experiences. I really hope they bring the quality back to what it used to be.
I’m not writing this review because of one bad experience. This has been happening consistently, and we are seriously considering not coming back.

I Bought two dosa’s and a chicken tikka masala, i come here often for the buffet and for eating dosa (which are really by the way worth it and really good) so i thought if the food is good in the buffet i’ll try out their curries, got the chicken tikka masala for 19.99 which was an ok price until i saw the portion size, it was minuscule and had 4 small teeny tiny pieces with a lot of raw capsicum and onions. It was mostly onions and capsicum. The bill came around 50$ the taste was ok, but im never going to buy any curries from here anymore, just going to stick with the dosa’s from now on.

Madras Chettinaad is a good restaurant and the food is usually nice, but the service today was very disappointing.
I visited today with my family and ordered a dosa. The rest of my family received their food within about 15–20 minutes and finished eating, but my dosa never arrived. When I asked the server about it, she told me to wait another 6 minutes.
In the end, I waited around 45 minutes to an hour and still did not receive my food, so I decided not to eat. The restaurant was not even busy at the time.
I’m writing this review so the owner is aware of what is happening when they are not there. The restaurant has good potential, but the service needs improvement.

Restaurantji Recommends
We had tried their à la carte several times before and it used to be really good, but recently the quality has dropped. It honestly feels like they bring in their best chef for the weekend buffet and manage with someone else during weekdays, because the difference in taste and quality is huge. I hope they improve their weekday quality to match the same excellent weekend buffet quality, because weekends feel like a completely different place.
Recently, weekday mutton biriyani was honestly one of the worst biriyanis I’ve had I’m not exaggerating.
The weekend mutton biriyani is one of the best biriyanis I've had in North America.
