I recently visited Madras Chettinad Restaurant and was quite disappointed with the overall experience. The food didn’t have the real Chettinad flavour ,it tasted bland, oily, and lacked authenticity. Service was slow and inattentive, and the overall atmosphere felt far from what I expected.
It’s clear you’ve taken heavy inspiration from Raja Chettinad, from the name to the menu ,but if you’re going to follow a model, at least do it properly. Raja Chettinad sets the true fine-dining standard with authentic flavours, exceptional hospitality, and even small details like their water glasses and neatly folded napkins showing class and care. Unfortunately, this place misses that entirely. You should learn from Raja Chettinad ,and if you’re copying, then at least do it correctly.

The restaurant was clean and the food was Amazing, but the temperature inside was extremely cold and uncomfortable. There was also no hot water in the washroom — the water was really, really cold. It made the whole experience unpleasant. I hope they fix the heating and hot water soon.

I visited at this place to try Dosa around 10:45 am but very disappointed because there staff said we can't serve because of our buffet is going on. We came from London city especially for trying food here.

Great food. Service was good and staff were friendly. Nice ambiance however we find music was a bit too loud for a restaurant. Food was superb and finger licking. Portion size is small and prices are on higher end compared to similar restaurants in KW. Only two traits on downside.

I wanted to share feedback about my recent visit. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to select a “zero star” rating, but this visit was quite disappointing compared to my previous experiences.
It seemed there was a birthday party happening during my visit, and it felt like all the attention was focused solely on that group. While I understand prioritizing special events, it shouldn’t come at the expense of other guests’ experiences. If the staff needs to dedicate full attention to private parties, it might be better to host them separately or temporarily close to regular customers.
As someone who works as a Guest Experience Leader at a multinational company, I understand the importance of consistent customer service. During my visit, several staff members appeared unorganized — I witnessed multiple wrong orders being served, and our table was approached four times with items we didn’t order.
That said, I truly enjoy the taste and quality of your food, which is why I plan to continue visiting. I sincerely hope you take this feedback constructively and work on improving staff training and customer service standards to ensure every guest feels equally valued.

We tried the pani puri, tomato rasam, Mysore masala dosa, Schezwan spring masala dosa, and spinach cheese dosa. I absolutely loved the pani puri, especially the flavorful paani, and the tomato rasam was delicious too. The Mysore masala dosa was nice, and the spinach cheese dosa was okay. However, I personally didn’t enjoy the Schezwan spring dosa, it didn’t really feel like having a dosa.
Overall, I’d definitely visit Madras Chettinad again, but I’ll skip the spring dosa next time.

I really enjoy the food here, and I appreciate the friendly service from the female crew members. However, today a male crew member welcomed us, and we mentioned that we preferred not to sit in the middle row as we needed some privacy. We asked if he could offer us a corner seat, but he responded quite rudely. I believe he could benefit from some customer service training.
