We visited the pub on a Saturday night and found the food to be generally excellent. We loved the pot roast; however, there were minor imperfections with my Reuben, which was too salty, and the accompanying toast was a bit too oily for my liking. Both the service and the atmosphere were great as well. The live music was at a pleasant volume, and the pub was well-lit, unlike many others I have visited. Additionally, they offered a lovely selection of beers and cocktails, including some not-so-common options. We would be happy to return!

If you suffer from any kind of medical issue don't go here. If it kicks in they'll ban you for life. I suffer from low blood sugar and stopped in one day after hearing a band playing as I was going to Sobeys, my blood sugar dropped and when that happens it's like you're high or drunk. I went to my car I fell down the police came I was transported to the hospital but suffered no charges as I was not intoxicated yet this dump banned me. So if you suffer from anything like this don't go and don't go if you like eating fruit flies with your dinner around the bar.

The Malt & Barley was excellent!!! We had the nachos & pot roast - they were sooo tasty! Our server, Kenzie, was so warm & welcoming! :) All of the staff were very friendly. The Malt has such a vibrant atmosphere & delicious food. I would highly recommend it to anyone! :)Parking: There are lots of free parking spaces in the lot behind the building or right on the street in front of the building.Kid-friendliness: The Malt is definitely great for kids!!! :)

Awesome place to spend an evening. I've been here a few times now and the food and service is always top notch. Tonight's fish and chips special contains the biggest portions of fish I've ever seen in my life. The veggie pita is stellar and I'd be back here every week if I lived closer by!Vegetarian options: Veggie pita, mac And cheese, and rice bowl are all vegetarian
This is an excellent pub. We've been several times as a family and with friends. The service is always great and the food is delicious. I highly recommend the fish and chips and the sticky toffee pudding! Definitely worth a visit.

Wonderful experience at Malt and Barley Public House. I ordered wings and picked them up. Unfortunately, they forgot one pound of wings but they corrected it right away and delivered the one pound they had missed. They also included free dessert which was their sticky toffee pudding. Amazing dessert! Thank you so much for going above and beyond.
