Best dinner in Kitchener/Waterloo! Maybe best in all of Canada. Mama Andy provides a welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. The Korean fried chicken was particularly memorable, beat only by the tiramasu for desert. And the timing was astonishingly quick - almost no wait at all!

Had heard a lot about Mama Andy's, and I'm delighted to say that the place not only lived up to — but exceeded — all expectations. The food is warm and lovely; the ambiance even more so.Mama Andy is a gracious host and fed us the most meticulously seared fillet of A5 wagyu, accompanied with a truffle-infused pommes puree. Suffice to say that we will be returning regularly to partake in the gastronomic odyssey that is Mama Andy's.One tip: Patience is the key. Since it's a one-person operation (which adds to the quaint charm of the place), sometimes it might take a while for Mama Andy to answer the door. Be patient and try to reach there by 10pm.
