Friendly service, squeaky cheese and delicious gravy. What more could you ask for? Well priced, large portion of fries. Would recommend

Fish was big, cooked well and had a very nice crunch to the batter. The family enjoyed it very much.

I wish I could give them 5 stars but the 3 I did give is because they USED to be are go to take out place. Over the last two months we have tried to get our usual order three to four times and each time they have run out of fries ie. stopped making them after going in person to order cause if you try to call in an order they don't pick up anymore and the answering machine is disconnected. They say open till 7pm but that should really say 5:30 as that's the lastest you can even attempt an order. So sad to see what was once a local gem have this kind of service.

I brought a group of 6 here today and I'm the only one who has been here before. I'm glad to report that Manitou Takeout has earned 5 more new customers. We ordered a classic poutine, a pulled pork poutine, a roast beef poutine, a pickle poutine, chicken fingers and 2 hamburgers. Everything we ordered was fulfilled properly and took less than 15 minutes. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. Generous portions, plenty of dark and delicious gravy and crispy fries. The pulled pork was delicious and not spicy. The roast beef was tender and very flavourful. The staff were friendly and efficient.

I’ve been coming here on Mother’s Day for a couple of years now and every time has been an amazing experience. The prices are great, the staff is friendly, and the service is fast even when they’re busy. The food always tastes fantastic. I had the chicken sandwich and my family ordered hot dogs, sausages, and poutine. Everything was delicious. Just keep in mind that seating is limited. I do however highly recommend stopping by!

Soggy fries and runny gravy.

Good food but when we order it for lunch at work, no one gets what they asked for.

Don't ever put regular mustard on an Oktoberfest sausage. Just wrong...

I always thought Neufy Fries were Fries made with NFLD Potatoes, I get to the park, open the lid and I really had no idea what I ordered, lol, Fries, pea's, stuffing, onions, gravy. Wish i would have taken a photo. Was the funniest surprise ever. Loved it, Will be back for more Neufy Fries soon.

My go to's are the Oktoberfest sausage w/ fried onions and sauerkraut and a small poutine. Best Poutine in town!

Went down to get some 2 piece fish and chips for first time. Good service, and food was good. Fish portions a little smaller than what I’m used to, but fries were quite good and tasty as were the mushroom bites. Can I recommend you give people some coleslaw if possible and a little more tartar sauce packets?

It's literally the best poutine I had in Canada, and I've been placed. The price is a bit higher, but you get all the toppings you want and share a large portion with a friend ?

The food is absolutely wonderful, the Newfie dressing is exactly the way my mom makes it. When I don’t have jigs dinner for a while and I miss the dressing, this is my go to place. The fish is always cooked perfectly. The staff is super friendly and very efficient. I’m never waiting there for too long. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everything. The prices are very reasonable, especially since their portion sizes are pretty big. I only got the regular sized Newfie fry and I couldn’t even finish it all!

So many varieties of poutine ranging from one's with Buffalo chicken to a Newfoundland style one with stuffing in it including the classic style with a generous amount of cheese curds. My child got one with roast beef on it and enjoyed the roast more than anything because it was so tender and delicious. Reminds me of the fresh cut fries you get from cottage country areas. Large portions you can easily split for a decent price.
