I’m so sad to hear that Marks is closing at the end of September. If you haven’t been before, I recommend visiting before it closes for good.
You can’t go wrong with any of their menu items. The meat is so tender and the portions are generous. I love the oxtail, but you can’t go wrong with the jerk or the curry goat either.
It’s so sad that Waterloo Region is losing a Caribbean staple!

Marks Caribbean Kitchen is amazing food, I go every couple weeks and pick up dinner for my wife and I as we both enjoy it and it’s amazing value. We order it often for my sales team at Most Wanted Cars as well.
We tend to get their Spicy Jerk Chicken Dinner plate (6pieces) with rice and plantain and oxtail gravy on the side. (spicy isn’t overly spicy but it’s actually the right flavour for it)
Everyone enjoy it, it’s clean relative to majority of food spots and it’s a hit every time. Portions are amazing for the price so it’s best value I find. If you’re looking at feeding a group you can buy jerk chicken buy the LB cooked here. Amazing for hosting and just wanting something different to serve.
Shoutout to the owners too, they’re hard working & deserving and it’s definitely a business I’ll keep supporting.

Amazing experience ordering from Mark's. I meant to order delivery but put pickup by mistake. They called me and were so friendly and then Mark himself came and dropped off the order! The food it amazing and portions were large enough for leftovers. Highly recommend this restaurant!

I ordered lobster on uber eats and paid $40 and it was stale and old and literally smelt crazy .. I got a refund from uber eats but was highly disappointed as their food is normally tasty and fresh

Jerk Chicken was great but everything else was surprisingly disappointing given the current rating and things I've heard from other people. I've never had dry rice and peas before so that was disappointing. And the steamed vegetables was not what i was expecting as it was quite acidic and just green beans and a few carrots.
Please hire someone that can cook the rice and peas is horrible the curry goat has no taste it is the worst I ever had no flavour whatsoever please fix things and stop giving Caribbean food bad name
