A great retro feel diner with very positive employees and fantastic pancakes! I went during Valentines day and their strawberry Cheesecake pancakes where phenomenal. Their smoked salmon Benny was also delicious and the Ceasar salad is a great combo they were liberal with the bacon bits too.
Overall I would definitely recommend and would like to make a shootout to our wait Madison F who always made sure our drinks were topped up without being intrusive.

Mel’s Diner is definitely my top go-to breakfast place. The portions are generous, and they have lots of variety. The prices are pretty decent compared to most other places. Not just their coffee, but their iced tea and lemonades are bottomless too. and all the food and drinks taste great! As for the atmosphere, it’s awesome if you’re looking for an old fashioned Western diner vibe.

We went to the Mel's in Kitchener. We had a great time. Surprisingly my son got a free milkshake as it was his birthday (29th). It had a sparkler in it and they played happy birthday on a boom box. The meals and service were excellent. The staff were very friendly and the meals were very good. We have been there before (Waterloo), and we would go back again!

Food is always fantastic at Mel's but the service here was incredible. Hayley was the best. I've never been offered a coffee to go after sitting in, at a place with bottomless coffee in my life. Great service.
