We went to the Mel's in Kitchener. We had a great time. Surprisingly my son got a free milkshake as it was his birthday (29th). It had a sparkler in it and they played happy birthday on a boom box. The meals and service were excellent. The staff were very friendly and the meals were very good. We have been there before (Waterloo), and we would go back again!

Food is always fantastic at Mel's but the service here was incredible. Hayley was the best. I've never been offered a coffee to go after sitting in, at a place with bottomless coffee in my life. Great service.

This is the place to go for a great meal and an experience. The place is set up to look just like a 50’s diner, the food is good and comes out quickly, and the servers are very attentive. I highly recommend the breakfast menu.
