I ordered 6 pupusas revueltas. It was from understanding revueltas include cheese, beans, chicharron, and theres was no cheese, or beans in my pupusas. Very disappointed.

A few years ago I moved back to the KW area after spending 15 years in Honduras. I couldn’t believe how homesick I was, when in reality, I had just moved back home. In a desperate search for pupusas, I stumbled upon Mi Tienda Latina. The smells, the people, the music, and the vibe I got as soon as I walked in the door, made me feel like I was home. I was overwhelmed in the best way, and I hadn’t even tried the food yet. My order was still being prepared, so I walked around to see what they all had in the store. I found myself crying in the corner, and I didn’t want to leave. I ended up having an emotional chat with a couple of the employees about moving back to Canada, and by the time my food was ready, I felt like I had found a bridge to making a difficult transition feel a little less heavy. I brought the pupusas home, and my kids and I all made ridiculous noises as we stuffed our faces with pure delight. They were BEYOND delicious, perfectly authentic, and all we wanted was more. To say we loved them was the biggest understatement ever!!!Since that first special visit almost three years ago, we’ve tried a lot of foods on the menu, but are favourites are the pupusas, the chicken and pork tamales, any of the tacos, and the beans.It is safe to say that Mi Tienda Latina doesn’t just make our tummies happy. Their food, the people, their hospitality and care, make our hearts super happy too!!!

Ordered chicken taco, Al pastor taco, and pupusas. Nothing had taste. The meat tasted so tough/chewy with lots of grits and as if they put only microscopic amount of salt in them. Disappointed in the taste and portion.

My husband and I went for a little lunch date here on our day off and it was so incredible. The atmosphere is great - you almost feel like you're on vacation despite the snow on the ground! They took their time helping us choose off the menu and we decided on the pupusas and tacos. Everything was DELICIOUS. They even gave us a little surprise with our order which was so generous of them. Truly a gem of a spot! We'll be back lots!

I absolutely love this gem downtown. I come to this restaurant multiple times a week to enjoy the authentic food cooked perfectly everytime as well as fresh delicious juice. I have enjoyed every dish I have tried here , love all the different tacos, the Salvadoran breakfast and in my opinion they have the best papousas in the region. The staff have always made me feel welcomed and my visits are always filled with genuine smiles which make my visits that much more enjoyable. Treat yourself to some of the most delicious food in the region by some of the kindest warmest people in the region
