It’s calm, quiet, and cozy the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy your meal, and have a great conversation without any distractions. It’s rare to find a spot that gets everything just right, but Mu Burger absolutely does. I left feeling full, happy, and already looking forward to my next visit. A hidden gem, classic greasy spoon. Some of the best prices for food that hits the spot after a long day. I've had the cheeseburger and the gyro and thoroughly enjoyed both. Will definitely be back time and time again!

Me and my friend went there the other day, and we're very pleasantly surprised by the prices and quality of the food, as well as the atmosphere. It's small but has a feeling of home in there, and the owner is a great person with a huge heart. He makes your food fast, tasty, and lets you pick out what you want on your burger. There's also salt, vinegar, and ketchup in little bins that you can grab for your food. The owner was very welcoming and nice, and the place isn't too far from gaukel block (there's swing seats there). Me and my friend intend to come back to this place, loved it here.

My sister and I order fish and chips to go at least once a month. They are super friendly and always remember me. Food is plentiful fresh and extremely reasonable. Fries are fresh cut and every order is cooked when ordered.

This place is what downtown needs - a friendly, sense of community. As soon as I walked in, the atmosphere was amazing, it felt like one of those locally owned older burger places that you'd see in movies. The owner was super friendly, and explained how everything was fresh made after I said it was my first time here. He said that the fries were cut in house which was believable because there was a lady sitting down cutting potatoes! He made me the burgers which only took 5-10 minutes. And when I went to pay, he said since it was the first time here, the cheese was on him!! All of this paired with the competitive prices makes this one of the best places I've been to in a long time. This is definitely my new go to spot!

Do not underestimate this unassuming mom and pop shop. The store owner was cordial and friendly as he greeted me. I had fish and chips (poutine) based off a review here that said the fish was fresh and crispy.
Initially I had mixed impressions. The fish was just alright, it was slightly dry and over-fried, more crunchy than crispy. And the cutlery honestly didn't seem that clean.
But that impression all changed once I tasted the poutine. My god was it good. The fries were so flavorful, the cheese curds tasted so fresh, and I love that he added a hint of shredded cheese. We aren't even talking about fast food anymore, this is restaurant quality poutine. Overall it was a very authentic poutine experience, and honestly one of the best tasting poutine I've had in a long while. I don't care if the fish was meh, that poutine alone was worth it. Prices are very fair too, I paid $11 w/ student discount.
