The man that works here is the kindest I've seen, the Quality of the food is so damn good, takes me maybe 3 minutes to go through a burger and fries (he knows my order down to the condiments), and the building itself, despite being small, feels homey

I have been here twice, the first time I declared it the best burger in town, and the second time held up. Brought my wife and mom because it was my mom's birthday and she said she wanted good fries, so this was definitely the place. She loved the fish and chips.

Visiting from Georgetown, I was going to the Centre in the Square. Stumbled on this place. Great little hole in the wall. The poutine was amazing. Shaw is a great host. I heard a bit about his story. Coming from Afghanistan 30 years ago. Creating a fine little spot where everything is so fresh. The food took a little time to arrive but it was way better than any fast food joint. Wish he was located in Georgetown.

The fries is definitely a highlight, which is fresh like the chef just got it from the ground. You can taste the potatoes very well and I never did from anywhere else before.

A hidden gem, classic greasy spoon. Some of the best prices for food that hits the spot after a long day. I've had the cheeseburger and the gyro and thoroughly enjoyed both. Will definitely be back time and time again!

Me and my friend went there the other day, and we're very pleasantly surprised by the prices and quality of the food, as well as the atmosphere. It's small but has a feeling of home in there, and the owner is a great person with a huge heart. He makes your food fast, tasty, and lets you pick out what you want on your burger. There's also salt, vinegar, and ketchup in little bins that you can grab for your food. The owner was very welcoming and nice, and the place isn't too far from gaukel block (there's swing seats there). Me and my friend intend to come back to this place, loved it here.

My sister and I order fish and chips to go at least once a month. They are super friendly and always remember me. Food is plentiful fresh and extremely reasonable. Fries are fresh cut and every order is cooked when ordered.

This place is what downtown needs - a friendly, sense of community. As soon as I walked in, the atmosphere was amazing, it felt like one of those locally owned older burger places that you'd see in movies. The owner was super friendly, and explained how everything was fresh made after I said it was my first time here. He said that the fries were cut in house which was believable because there was a lady sitting down cutting potatoes! He made me the burgers which only took 5-10 minutes. And when I went to pay, he said since it was the first time here, the cheese was on him!! All of this paired with the competitive prices makes this one of the best places I've been to in a long time. This is definitely my new go to spot!
