North Shawarma

Service is great, but unfortunately the positive things end there. Food very bland. Very small portion of chicken in the shawarma plate. There are lots of other great shawarma places in KW - this one is not it.

Food was edible but nothing special, the shawarma has no taste, even the garlic sauce or spicy mayo was flavourless.

I ordered a burger, chicken sandwich, fries and a garden salad. This place has some of the best burgers, fries and chicken sandwiches I've had. I would say the texture of the burger is a tad spongey for me personally and the bun was a bit overdone but it was still delicious and had good toppings (tomato, lettuce, pickles, mayo and ketchup). The chicken sandwich had the same toppings as the burger. The chicken was crunchy, well battered and the toppings were also good as well as a nice bun, though the chicken batter could've been seasoned but again still delicious. These are so far the best Shawarma restaurant fries I've had, overall one of the top fries I've tried, they are a great texture and taste fantastic. The salad was also quite good but I was not wowed. I added cucumbers, tomatoes and a garlic sauce. I liked the sauce a lot and yet again nice toppings that made for a good simple salad. This will surely not be my last order, I'd want to order again and again.

These folks are my very best friends!! They have an amazing menu selection as well as plenty of eat-in seating. They are also some of the most friendly ppl I believe there is!! The entire staff make u feel extremely welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for the great food and friendly service!!

Used to be excellent shawarma, now they frequently miss instructions and the shawarma is dried out and burnt. I've given them the benefit of the doubt and ordered a couple of times since the quality started going downhill but have been disappointed every time since. Its a shame considering how great it used to be but I'll no longer be giving North Shawarma any more chances.

A Hidden Gem for Shawarma Lovers!

North Shawarma has quickly become my go-to spot for a satisfying shawarma wrap. Operated by three incredibly sweet women, the hospitality alone makes you want to keep coming back. You can genuinely feel the love in their food.

I had the chicken shawarma wrap and it was phenomenal. The meat was perfectly crunchy , and juicy, loaded with flavourful sauces and tangy pickled veggies. The taste is truly authentic and the portions are generous.

Highly recommend if you're craving something hearty, honest, and made with care. Support local and don’t miss this gem!

Gave me the worst runs I've had in years

Really good Shawerma and fries! The staff was very sweet as well!

I love this place. However, today I got a plate with salad. I was asked if I wanted hot sauce, I said yes. She put salad dressing on the salad....which I didn't want. Than asked again for hot sauce. Which i already said yes to. She never asked about the dressing, just put it on. When I asked what kind of dressing it was, she barley awnsered. I told her I didn't want the salad dressing. She just continued to pack up my food. Than siad have a good day. She wasn't listening at all. I do not see myself coming back. Which is a shame, because the food is great.

Out of all the shawarmas we tried, North Shawarma is the best. They never disappoint us!

Unfortunately, we just had the worst meals from North Shawarma that we’ve had in a long time. This shawarma restaurant used to be our favourite shawarma place but tonight is the last chance I’ll give it. We’ve ordered here so many times over the years and it has definitely gone downhill recently. The flavours were off, we were served old hard pieces of chicken and some tendon-like chewy pieces — not even sure it was chicken. The fries were hardly cooked and our wrap was soggy. Goodbye to North Shawarma, I’m sad to say. Hopefully they can see this in the future and make adjustments.

I had a disappointing experience with this restaurant, not just as a customer but also hearing about how they treat their employees. While the food might seem decent on the surface, it’s important to note that they exploit international students by making them work long hours for cash, often under unfair conditions. These vulnerable individuals are often left with no choice due to their circumstances, and the management takes advantage of that.

As a community, we should support businesses that value their employees and treat them fairly. It’s unsettling to see places like this profit while exploiting innocent workers who are just trying to make ends meet. I’d recommend spending your money at establishments that respect labor laws and prioritize ethical practices.

Best in town ! I even but for my birthday parties now I’m a regular to this place
