After seeing lots of folks from different forums recommend this place I decided to give it a go. The text to order & pick up was quick and easy. I got the Veal Parm on grilled ciabatta. Was definitely good! Everyone raved about the home made sauce and yes it is good but I think my wife's is better (maybe I'm a little biased) I will definitely return to try more of what they have to offer

Just simply put: THE BEST. I don’t think I’ve had a veal this good anywhere else, not even st Lawrence market, not even Woodbridge, Toronto. I love the service too. Just text and they bring it to your door, that’s what I call great service!

My MIL ruined me for take out/restaurant food from the motherland and my partner is VERY hard to impress. We both rave about, regulary crave and return often to Nostra Cucina - especially the Veal Parm sandwich! Every offering we've sampled over the years has been incredible.
I especially LOVE the no nonsense and straight forward ordering and pickup process - legit an introvert's dream and so efficient. To those upset with hours/operational choices, I'd like to point out to all humans that business policies & boundaries do NOT equal customer service. Google reviews should hands down be reserved for quality of the experience (how was the food, were you treated with kindness, those sorts of things), not YOUR personal expectations being unmet by how someone else chooses to operate THEIR business/baby/dream✌🏻🩷

First time trying this place and I’m obsessed. Text to order? An introvert’s dream. Curbside pickup? I know I’m not the only victim of sitting-in-car inertia. Fast, straightforward, no-nonsense service? *Chef’s kiss* Honestly even if they don’t have amazing food and even more amazing portion sizes, which they absolutely do, I’d still go back.
Overall: Iconic. 10/10. Recommended to all my friends.
(As for everyone hating on the unusual business hours, god forbid a girl plays hard to get 🙄)
I love everything about it, the panini was awesome (I got the bomb) Great flavour, perfect amount of sauce, and heated to perfection.
The cannoli was so fresh and creamy, great flavour, not too sweet.
The service was fast and efficient. The staff was lovely. The prices are reasonable and the portions are great.
Overall would totally recommend coming here and I will definitely be back!

I’m new to the Waterloo region and have not been able to find take out food of any kind that I like … until today!
I ordered veal sandwiches based on an AI search and drove 25 mins just to get these sandwiches… and they did not disappoint! The quality of the veal is unmatched… the sandwich was stacked with meat and had the perfect amount of sauce (not soggy and also not dry). The bread was fresh too. I like the heat so maybe next time I’ll order a little extra peppers but otherwise, a great place to get your veal sandwiches.
And … the icing on the cake is Deanna (I hope I spelt your name correctly). You are such a bright light, you’re very warm and welcoming and real. Being in business for 20 years is proof that you’re doing it right. Because of the person you are and the care that you put into the food you serve, you will always be blessed.
