We ordered a few dishes to share and drinks, and they were all excellent! The service here was great too. We will definitely be coming back.

My polycule had a wonderful time at Odd Duck! The food and drinks were all unique, creative, and of course absolutely delicious. Without exaggeration it was some of the best food I have ever eaten. And the most visually appealing too! I really respect their general business model and it is very apparent that everyone who works there is really passionate about good food. I can't wait to go back!

Great food, great ambiance, great enthusiasm from the staff - we had a great time overall - great job! :)

We trusted them with the Trust Us Experience and it was the right choice. Adding on the wine pairing for each dish was the perfect cherry on top. All the food was amazing, their pappardelle and ballotine dishes were so good we practically licked those plates clean. The wine pairings were also really unique to us and were wines we hadn't had anything like before. Our server/sommelier's enthusiasm for describing each wine and what makes them different from other batches also made for a fun evening and you could just tell they enjoyed talking about it. You may also find the odd duck here and there ;) which is always fun if you ask me.

My husband and I visited on Feb. 15 for the Valentine's menu, and we were not disappointed! This was our first visit.

We had an exceptional experience from start to finish. We arrived a bit early for our reservation and were still seated right away. The menu was fixed for the evening, and it gave us a chance to taste 6 different courses that were all incredible. Our absolutely favourite was the beef cheek, followed by the branzino. The menu also included the option to sample wine pairings along with each course. We opted not to do this because we aren't wine drinkers, but we thoroughly enjoyed hearing the in depth explanations of each wine as they were brought to a nearby table.

The service was also excellent. All the food came out at a very reasonable pace courtesy of the happy and helpful wait staff. Each dish was described to us in detail. We held on to one menu so we could reference it as we ate to better identify the flavours, which was super helpful.

We opted for cocktails instead of the wine pairings and thoroughly enjoyed the "Spruce Lee" cocktail. I believe they were each 2 oz. drinks, so they were worth their price.

We also loved that the Odd Duck is a living wage employer and as a result, there is no tipping. All restaurants should factor a living wage into their pricing so their staff are paided predictable, fair wages. Personally, I would choose a living wage restaurant before one that isn't.

Finally, upon leaving, we were given a little treat bag with freshly baked cookies as a Valentine's treat. It was the cherry on top of a perfect meal.

Parking recommendations were easily found on their website, and we had zero issues parking close to the restaurant.

Overall, I would highly recommend visiting the Odd Duck. The exceptional food, quality service and elevated, yet relaxed, atmosphere made for the perfect night out. We will absolutely be back!

odd duck is one of my favourite restaurants ever, and I find myself telling everyone about it.

First, the food is fantastic. With the menu constantly changing, it's so much fun to see what new flavour combinations they have thought of. We adore their seafood dishes, having had skate, squid, and delicious oysters there. Their meat and vegetable dishes are also incredible - from a deconstructed sweet potato pie to a partridge in a pear tree, the food always comes with a fun twist. Plus, our food allergies are always accommodated well. Thank you, Jon and to the team in the kitchen!

Cocktails here are excellent. They take classics and add a unique odd duck flair to them. Emma and Samm are the best. And, if wine is your drink- this is the place!!! Wes will always have a pairing idea in mind, as the menu is based around the available wines, and he will always be happy to tell you the stories behind the wines.

Beyond the food and drinks here, we love the people and atmosphere! From the art hanging on the walls to the fun decor, odd duck is very visually pleasing and open to all. Service is excellent, with everyone incredibly friendly.

We love odd duck 🫶🏼 in every way. So glad to have discovered this gem this past year, and looking forward to visiting for years to come!

P.S. take out lunches here are fun, as well as their themed wine nights/events!

Food was creative and nicely done. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. We were seated at a tiny table in the corner. We did ask to be moved, but were told they were fully booked (even though the empty tables were not occupied until just before we left). For the purposes of a date night, this was not a place to go, unfortunately-we felt elbow to elbow with the people beside us.

This is a gem of KW! Food is legitimately good and the wine selection blows you out of the park. If you're looking for a legitimately good wine list, amazing food, and down to earth ambience, this is the place to go. Knocking off a star because the vegetarian options could be a little better balanced. They always lack protein and sufficient carbs. They are almost always just vegetables and sauce so it's hard to feel satiated.

Incredible, innovative food meets kind, friendly service and unique drink offerings in this modern fine dining establishment. 10/10 recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about our experience at odd duck. Let’s start with the food. The menu offerings were truly spectacular with refreshing, experimental, and novel takes on beloved classics. Roasted sweet potato meets toasted meringue and gochujang Graham cracker crumble? A sweet, buttery, crunchy slice of heaven. A bed of house-made pappardelle smothered in a tangy brown butter sauce, cushioning braised rabbit and crispy prosciutto? The savoury, melts-in-your-mouth sensation we all yearn for when splurging on a night out. Every bite was a testament to the care, finesse, and commitment odd duck shows to creating an exceptional, unique dining experience.

The cocktail list was full of delightful twists on classic drinks and the hand-curated wine list with optional food pairings and 3oz pour offerings lets you taste more of their special collection without over-imbibing. Last but not least, the bottle shop means you can take home most of their wine, beer, and sherry bottles if you find something you want to keep savouring.

One of the things that made odd duck shine was unexpected: the embrace of their service and kitchen staff as an integral part of the odd duck brainchild. Team members are encouraged to participate in the menu design and everyone is paid a living wage. This also means there is no tipping at odd duck, because everyone has a secure, fair, dependable income. In a world filled with uncertainty and exploitation, the special care taken of the humans behind odd duck is truly the chef’s kiss to this beautiful dining establishment.

From the welcoming owner to the fresh ingredients to featured local art, everything about the odd duck experience will leave you perfectly satisfied and bursting with excitement for your next visit.

Thank you, odd duck, for everything! We will see you soon.

The four of us ordered the tasting menu with beverage paring.

The food was subpar, flavourless and tremendously dissapointing...not worth the $650+ dollar bill when you compare it with other restaurants in this price range. I would NOT recommend the pairing menu. Try something else if you plan on visiting the Odd duck.
