This was a shockingly bad experience. We order vegan food for 6 for Mother's Day, You know, a lovely treat for the mothers among us. The vegan menu had looked intriguing but it was a case of a lot of nice words, signifying nothing. The attached picture should speak for itself. All 6 plates looked like this. Specifically: the potatoes were scarce and undercooked; macaroni had been substituted for non-vegan foods such as chicken and ribs; an eggplant wrap was deemed un-eatable by some and looked dreadful. A mushroom cap layered with lentils was a dark and unappetizing morsel, too small to have any real taste. There were some grilled pepper and onion, again, everything too small to yield an impact. Salad was ok although it advertised kale and there was none. Not for any of us. Dessert was ok and novel although we added whipped cream (vegan) and maple syrup to spice it up. A lot of our food went uneaten, which is rare for this family of foodies and hungry people. And this combination of odd foods costs $35 plate. Unspeakable.
