We had the best day celebrating our daughters 3rd birthday yesterday! She absolutely loved it. The play area was clean, lots of fun, and the staff were so kind, & helpful. What a cute spot!!!

Absolutely love Play A Latte! Found it about 2 years ago and never forgot it. I make a point of stopping in whenever I'm in Kitchener. Their coffee is great but their chocolate walnut donut and fruit/cherry/orange (varies) donuts are big and taste exactly like the old tim hortons ones from when I was a kid. Heard someone mention that they actually ARE the original recipe before tim hortons changed it! ❤️ It's a great play place for kids, they sell fun activity kits to do at home with little ones And it's licenced to serve alcohol. Can't recommend it enough!
Kid-friendliness: It's a small cafe with a big play area for kids. Clean and staff are very friendly

Such an incredible place to take the kids. Amazing drinks and VEGAN donuts! What more could you ask for? The server was so lovely too :)

Dietary restrictions: They were very accommodating in trying to find a dairy free snack and their spread for bagels is plant based

Had to drive a long way to get there to pickup eclipse glasses so we got there 5 minutes before closing time. However when we entered we were told that they were closed even though the door was open, sign still showed said it was open, and had a line of people at the cashier. When we asked why the employee told us their boss wouldn't pay them after 4:30. Could have been avoided if something had informed us they were closing early. Disappointed.

My daughter had a fantastic time playing in the play area. The lattes were great; the food was average. The staff were cold and not friendly at all, which was off putting given the place was geared towards children.

I enjoyed coming here with my two year old for an hour during a cold day. He LOVED the jungle gym (much more his size than the ones at most parks) and kept asking to go back for weeks. It’s a little pricy if you want to go with more than one adult, in my opinion. If adults were slightly less expensive I’d get coffee with a girlfriend here more often. As an indoor activity for just one adult and young and kiddo it’s great. Will definitely be going back.

I like the place and the concept, only thing is that I found it more for bigger children, they run freely and enjoy it so much, however with babies (or like mine 2yr) parents have to be next to them to help them climb or avoid bigger kids hit them. They only had one staff person for a Saturday, I think it will be better service with 2. Also I would suggest that ticket for under 3yr should include one adult (it is not like babies can go alone of course) and then ticket per additional adult is ok.

The fact that adults have to pay full price to watch their kids play is absurd. I could understand if it was a playground at the same scale as a place like funvilla (which doesn't charge an adult to accompany a child) but it is quite small, standard outdoor playground size. I would not take my child in to play for that price. The coffee was good, and reasonably priced though, second star is for that only.
Friendly staff. Very clean. Good first experience.

This is a very cute place and concept, and I was very excited to come here the first few times with my son. Recently, however, the play area hasn't seemed very clean when we have visited.During my most recent booking, I decided to leave early because staff were not screening for illness and there was a very sick child in the play area coughing on everything. He was also eating an apple, leaving apple chunks all throughout the playroom. I was not comfortable letting my 11 month old continue to crawl around and play after that.I brought up my concerns to staff, they apologized and said they would try to be better. The girls seemed sweet and I imagine they might not have been screening for fear of having to turn people away. Nonetheless, it made for a poor experience.

Great place. I wish we didn't have to pay for adults as most other places you do not have to . Regardless I will still go back as my daughter loves

Great place to take your kids. I find the entrance fee a bit much, but my kids love it so much that the cost is outweighed by the fun they have.
