I came for afternoon tea with a friend. Overall I thought it was good but not great. Pretty small selection of teas for a place that specializes in afternoon tea. The decor is a weird clash of pastel flowers and blood red and black Alice in Wonderland motifs. Scones were dry but clotted cream was nice. Everything felt like it lacked salt and flavour a touch. The desserts were disappointing, but the amount of items and sizes were otherwise good. I wouldn't recommend it when there are other better options but it was decent. Service was minimal but fine.
Such a lovely place with delicious food and a great atmosphere !
Very pleasant experience, but definitely overpriced. Nearly $50 per person for tea, scones, and snacks is extreme. The quality is good though, and the venue is very clean, just has a hefty price tag.
A Whimsical Wonderland of Flavour and Charm! From the moment I stepped into Queen of Hearts Tea House, I felt like I had wandered straight into a fairytale. The atmosphere is absolutely enchanting—vintage elegance meets whimsical charm, with cozy seating, delicate china, and thoughtful decor that truly makes you feel like royalty. The tea selection is phenomenal! Whether you’re a classic Earl Grey lover or craving something more adventurous like lavender or lime gelato, they’ve got something that will surprise and delight your taste buds. I tried the signature Earl Grey cream and paired with the freshly baked scones was pure magic. The staff are warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. They genuinely care about your experience and are happy to guide you through the menu. The service was top-notch from start to finish. Whether you’re planning a quiet afternoon escape, a special date, or a whimsical tea party with friends, Queen of Hearts is the perfect spot. I honestly didn’t want to leave—and I’ll definitely be back soon! Highly, highly recommend. 💕☕👑

A Nice little Afternoon Tea experience. Very traditional British Food offerings. Everything was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was nice. My only minor complaint - it would be a great experience for kids (and I know you do have special events kids would love) but the food offerings aren't the most kid friendly. It wouldn't be traditional but having something like Nutella wraps or little PB and J finger sandwiches would be adorable and kids would snatch up. Just a thought!
From the reviews, I was expecting something really special. I left feeling underwhelmed with the food. There were a few things on the high tea platter I didn't enjoy, although it may just come down to taste preference. My suggestion to improve the experience would be to would be to serve the scones and tarts warm.
Special day out! Fun experience! Tea and treats were really good!
All of the items were fresh and delicious. Beautifully presented.
This was our first time booking. It was to celebrate a dear friend's 60th and was wonderful from start to finish. The food was so good and perfect in quantity. The service was not rushed or overbearing and the ambience was so comfortable and fitting. Even the washroom was so cute and decorated with the theme in mind. Definitely will visit again and highly recommend to others! Thank you!

Queen of Hearts Tea House offers such wonderful service and the food is fantastic! I've been there a couple times now and would definitely go again. The only very slight mark down is for the ambiance, decor and heat. It was a little too cold in there and we were right next to the fireplace (although it was not switched on) so could have been a little nicer overall if we weren't a bit cold. Overall the place is a little bare/cold looking with the paint colours and seating/tables that don't remind me of any tea houses in Europe where I'm from, but understand it's not a character filled building and they are going for Queen of hearts colours. My only suggestion would be to add more softer furnishings and a slightly vintage vibe to the furniture and walls etc and it'd be 5 stars for that also. I'll definitely be back and bring others with me ❤️
Delicious food, great service, and a wonderful afternoon tea experience that keeps us coming back again and again!
