I wish I can give them zero stars. I was here today with a few other friends and we each paid $50 for a full afternoon tea experience. We asked our server if we could stay a bit longer, knowing full well that our reservation was ending in the next few minutes, we were told yes we can stay longer. A few minutes later a different server comes to our table and aggressively tells us our reservation has ended and leaves the take out boxes. Then she goes behind the counter and keeps aggressively starring at us. When I start to pack, I noticed hair on my sandwich. The server quickly removes the food and when I am paying she tells me I cannot be compensated because the owner isn’t here.Vegetarian options: Comes with hair

I had always thought high tea would be a cute experience with fancy teacups and brunch food that would never rival my love of crab cake eggs bennys but wow was I wrong! The food was absolutely out of this world, and every item tasted different with and without tea. It was insane how they packed so much flavour into these small bites, and normally I like food hot but room temp was perfect for this esp with a sip of hot tea!**Bottom tier**: Chicken salad tortilla, egg salad croissant, cucumber cream cheese on toast, zucchini + cheddar muffin, allium quiche**Middle tier**: original and currant scones with clotted cream + strawberry jamok so I knew that the scones were going to be good, the crown taught me that it’s a high tea classic etcetc but I cannot explain how amazing these damn scones were!! Structurally sound enough to spread clotted cream on yet still perfectly tender that it’s not a crumbly mess - like excuse me ???? Absolute witchcraftthe scones together with the tea literally put me on a different plane of existence - I think I drank 75% of my pot with the scones and I don’t regret it one bit**Top tier**: heart-shaped shortbread cookie w/ strawberry jam, fudge brownie (the fudgiest!!), funfetti cupcake, strawberry shortcakeThis tier was a bit too sweet on its own, but perfect with tea! From the pics it didn’t look like a lot of food but it’s actually so filling! Service was also amazing, the ladies were very attentive.Overall I highly recommend Queen of Hearts Tea House for high tea, we will definitely be coming back!

So happy there is a high tea shop in Kitchener. The food was delicious! The savory items were my favourite along with the scones. The tea was really good and super cute atmosphere.

The service is amazing, and the food and tea are even better. You can tell by the taste that the tea is high quality, and there are so many different types to choose from. All of the food was incredible, from the coronation chicken wraps, to the fantastic scones and clotted cream. I'll definitely be back again!

Queen of Hearts is a quaint , friendly place with exquisite baked goods , pastries and delicate delights .. homemade scones, mini sandwiches , croissants and fruit. There are cosy corners for more privacy and open areas for groups .The tea selection is divine. Assorted China cups and saucers , teapots with cream and sugar containers. Clotted cream and homemade jam..I've been there 4 times and will continue to go there! I highly recommend!

Wonderful experience! The tea was delicious and the service was lovely as well. My guest and I were not full by the end of it, which was a surprise. The main point of this experience is not to be full I guess which is totally fair though :) overall this would be a great experience for anyone of all ages, and we will be back again. As an additional note, when we were there someone needed a physical accommodation and we watched the server handle it gracefully and quickly. That's exactly what I would want my situation to be treated like kudos for doing a great job there too.

We really enjoyed the lovely high tea served at Queen of Hearts. Such a lovely tea room with all the beautiful tea serving pieces. The food was wonderful and we were quite full on leaving. The price was reasonable. The service was informative and exceptional. What a beautiful experience!

I go here all the time usually my experience is good, this time we went we had reservations for 3 and ended up with 4 which was a child because my friends daughter wouldn't stay home she wanted to be with her mom. And the server made it a big deal saying that they prepared the food already and they can't add any more food. How much is a 4 year old going to eat? We asked for more clotted cream there were about 6 scones, and the server told us she couldn't bring us anymore that we would have to buy the container which we didn't want too. And other people at the table had their own packs of clotted cream which we just had one for the 3 of us to share. My friend maybe thought it was a race thing. Not sure if we will be coming back.

Really incredible afternoon tea experience. Reasonably priced and you get 4 savory bites, 2 scones with clotted cream + jam, and 4 dessert bites for each person. We had enough to take home for leftovers and were so full! You can also let them know at the time of your reservation if you are vegetarian and they can accommodate which is nice!

This place met all our expectations for High Tea. My favourite sandwiches were the egg salad and the open face cucumber. Desserts were wonderful. We were pleased with the attentive and friendly service.

We ordered a take-home tea kit for a Valentine's date Day. It was a fine assorted of sweet and savory foods. We loved the tea pairing with the Valentine Kit.Scones are always good, and I love the jam and butter that come with it.When we picked up the order, they reviewed with us what the foods were, and they provided a printout of the menu with our order.I recommend visiting for date days with friends and family. Cute gift shop items at the front of the restaurant as well.I look forward to returning again.
