I did not like the Chicken Parmesan at all. I expected a chicken breast as stated on the menu but got a pre-breaded chicken cutlet/burger type piece of chicken that was mechanically separated chicken. I found the pasta was overcooked which I overlooked because we were a large group. I have had their bolognese pasta on another occasion which was very good so I was very disappointed in this dish, especially for the price. Service was very good.

Rustico elevates the dining out experience. They do this by crafting Italian meals that are consistently superior.

I started with a beet salad. It was delicious. Roasted beets, arugula, feta, balsamic, and cherry tomatoes. So fresh and tasty.

My entree was a pasta dish that featured shrimp and sausage. The creamy sauce was amazing. This was a very good choice.

Our Server was friendly in just the right doses, and knew what she was doing.

One of the Staff, who brought our food, reached across in front of my dining companion with a plate. I thought this was one of the first topics covered in training.

The surroundings ast Rustico are informal yet classy.

If you fancy Italian food, then Rustico is going to please you.

By far our #1 restaurant of choice! The food is always phenomenal; prices are fair and the space (either inside or outside) is comfortable and classy. A one-of-a-kind treasure in Waterloo Region. Kudos to Nicole (our server for last evening's visit). Your friendliness, menu recommendations and service made our dinner even more enjoyable!

My girl friends and I went to dinner in this quaint little corner of heaven. Our server Nicole was the sweetest and accommodating to all the noise and loud conversations we were having. The food was par excellent and we had the best time at their patio. The food has generous portions and every dish we had was delicious. We had crispy ravioli, calamari, fried Brie with garlic bread, berry and goat cheese salad, Mediterranean pizza, chicken parmesan, stuffed portobello mushrooms and for desert we had brownie and creme brûlée.
Needless to say it was a feast we will never forget.

Had a birthday dinner for 7 people. Nicole was our server she did a great job, food arrived all at the same time, all hot and tasted great! Nicole was attentive and super helpful!

What a terrific restaurant this is! And a wonderful discovery for us, this past week! Hand-stretched pizza certainly looked appealing on neighbouring tables, but we ordered entrees instead. It was a good decision. My spaghettini with mushroom sauce was just perfectly spiced. So was my partner’s salad. Although the dining room was packed, the service was helpful and consistent. We appreciated Juneyt Isketer playing live acoustic guitar in the background. This restaurant can be noisy when full, but we enjoyed every minute of our meals nonetheless. One of the best Italian restaurants in this area, for sure.

The short ribs are the best, especially if the mac and cheese special is on, anything you pic will be amazing though, no doubt. Donuts for dessert everytime. Nicole was an amazing waitress, funny and super attentive, plus great recommendations. Amazing spot, can confirm!

A very pleasant experience. Our server was friendly and relaxed and warned us that the kitchen was very busy. Despite that, she checked on us regularly and we did not feel that out meal was excessively delayed. We were seated on the patio and thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

Such a cute little spot! Me and my friends all enjoyed our food and loved the vibes of this small restaurant. We went on a Friday evening, so it was pretty busy so it took a while to order and get our food; but we weren’t in a rush and had a great time here!

Took 1h30 to have my food. Yes, there was a long table with a bunch of people celebrating something, but it still does not explain why we weren't warned by our waitress (maybe she could have told us about it, or recommended faster options than the pasta we chose).

She brought four slices of bread and butter when we we were already waiting for 1 hour, but that wasn't enough.

Not coming back. You could have done more.

Our visiting family, we all went there for dinner. Food too notch! Perfect and polite service. Prices very reasonable especially these days. Definitely will return. You won't be disappointed here. Recommend!

We had the spicy Italian pizza (5$ off on tuesday), and the pork tetrazinni along with a calamari starter.
The pork tetrazzini is a slow roasted pork belly in a creamy white sauce with spaghetti and Parmigiano cheese. DELICIOUS!
The pizza was so full of flavour great sauce, great cheese nice thin crust and cooked to perfection!
